Hi, all of the review copies have been handed out already, sorry :)

The plugin only hides the links from bots and humans see the links. It is a BH plugin and with any BH tool there comes a risk and it comes down to how comfortable each person is with that risk and the reward.

I don't see any negative or positive change, but this plugin is doing what OP said and is very simple to use too .

Hi and thanks for your review. There are a number of factors to take in to account when ranking a website, as I'm sure you're aware, and I don't want to come across as condescending in any way :) Being able to hide external links from the eyes of Google can help your sites ranking as others have reported but it can't help improve other areas of a site which may require attention such as a bad back link profile (not that I am suggesting your site has that issue, I am just using it here as an example.)

I'm sure that with the plugin left running on your site for a longer period will prove a better test on whether the plugin is able to help your site improve its search engine ranking. And if it doesn't improve, but also doesn't worsen, then there may be other factors at hand that's preventing your website from ranking better in the search engines.

Again, thank you for taking the time to review the plugin and share your honest feedback on the thread for others to see.

Am I the only one who is skeptical about "ranking improvements and lower CPC" due to "hiding links"?
I mean, if you run an affiliate site, you should already know to hide or at least nofollow your affiliate links.

How the Link Ninja Pro hides links is totally different from simply "no following" your affiliate links. The plugin completely hides them from Googles bot in a way that goes far beyond anything every talked about before and far surpasses any other link hiding method.

This isn't link cloaking where you show your visitors one link and the search engine bots another - the Link Ninja Pro removes the links from the source code when it's viewed by a search engine bot/spider.

Once the plugin is active the links cannot be seen or read by Googles bots. As far as any search engine bot/spider is concerned the links simply aren't there at all.

You may be skeptical about "ranking improvement and lower CPC" due to hiding links but that because its never been possible to hide links in this way from Google bots/spiders. Others have used the plugin and posted their findings in the reviews that are in this thread which should help to ease your skepticism.

The bottom line is that the pugin does everything exactly as it says on the 'tin' :)

Few tips to make this a better thing:

1) I would make the plugin so that there's really no way for people to see you have the plugin. You could go to http://whatwpthemeisthat.com/ enter your site and the plugin may appear. Hiding the plugin would be a great way for Google not to take down those who use it ;)

2) If the plugin folder is "domain.com/wp-content/plugins/blackhat-ninja" I believe that's another footprint you may want to avoid ;)
I believe that can be easily fixed by changing the plugin folder name ;)

As this seems to be a cloak plugin, I would try to apply these 2 tips

I dont own the plugin yet (awaiting the 15% discount code/link) so I don't know if these things are applied yet. (So excuse me if you already took action on it)

Thanks for your advice but we have already covered both of these points on the plugin. You're 100% correct with the need be able to hide this plugin and not create a footprint which is something we take in to account with every BH plugin that we've released.

The plugin is hidden in plain sight upon install but you can also rename the plugins folder to anything else that you want to hide it even further but you don't need to do that if you don't want. By default the plugins folder is given a generic name that does not provide Google with a footprint to follow or references the plugin in anyway.

Because of the BH plugins that we have already released being able to hide the plugins and remove footprints is second nature to us and is a standard feature.

I think the site I utilised on needs more time to make me understand it better.
I left an honest review I think.
You might not like it, but I didn't want to lie about it. It's just my experience of 2 weeks
with little usage. If you'd like to revoke the licence, it's fine.

Neither did I tinker with it too much.
The site has Prettylinks free version on it, and the affiliate links were already masked with 307 redirects,
such as site.com/affiliatevendor

Hi CottonWolf, thanks for your honest and open review of the plugin. What we always ask for from anyone who reviews any of our plugins is honesty and openness as that is fair for anyone else looking to buy the plugin based on reviews.

This plugin can do a lot of things but unfortunately it's not a magical all in one solution to all your sites SEO needs. The plugins main contribution towards improving a sites SEO is that it minimizes link juice leaks and removes (by totally hiding from SE bots) your affiliate links (or any external links that you choose) which is an important part of on-page SEO but this is just ONE factor out of hundreds taken in to account when your site is being ranked.

The Link Ninja Pro plugin goes far beyond any kind of link masking which Google's bots are able to follow and see where they go which enables them to see them for what they are. Masking links is something that's done for your human visitors benefit and to make your long affiliate links look nicer.

While you can still use link masking plugins for that benefit, using the Link Ninja Pro totally hides those links from Googles bots which can help your sites SEO efforts. There is a huge difference between link masking and what the Link Ninja pro plugin does.

As you said the site you tested it on is still quite new I would suggest leaving the plugin in place to continue to do its job for you and after a few months, once the site has settled, come back and update us on the outcome but be careful with those link building techniques you're using. The Link Ninja plugin is good but it can't help protect you against low quality backlinks built to your site :)

If we had a plugin that did that we'd be millionaires by tomorrow :)

The license you were given in exchange for your time spent testing and reviewing the plugin is yours to keep forever and we'd never even consider revoking a license based on the review left. That's not how we build our business or our reputation here at BHW.

I got a review copy from OP before the thread went live, i have used it on one of my product review site at first i did had some problems but it wasn't the plugin it was the nulled theme that i was using so i went ahead and brought a premium theme and then installed link ninja pro. it does everything that is stated in the BST. It is the best way to hide your affiliate links and as shez was explaining how can you take advantage of this for guest posting. The price OP is charging is a steal and shez has always replied my question and was really helpful. Good luck with sales.
