I made a sale by uploading video about a product, i think it works if you could do more

These are the reasons for your lose.
1.You have chosen wrong keyword. You should research and choose buyer keywords.
2. Direct linking to the offer, you should build optin page and collect all mails. You can use it again and again, all niche targeted mails are golden egg laying goose.
Also suggest you to don't go with paid advertising, try with some free methods youtube, FB group posting.
Choose the product with good gravity above 25, use Google trend.

I'd use landing pages. And not only landing pages, but I would have an optin form on the landing page, with an incentive related to the product you're promoting. This will turn traffic that didn't purchase immediately into future sales. I think people who don't collect emails while promoting products leave alot of money on the table.
