A Newbie IM learning journey

Hi all,

My name is xPuppet and i am a complete newbie in IM. I became interested after a seminar about it by groupon a year ago.This is my first IM journey and i hope to learn from the mistake that i am bound to make during this journey.I started this journey about a week ago and decide to post my journey here to keep myself motivated/focus. So this is my plan for now:

The Plan

• Finding something interesting and making an authority site(done. Man, that was hard finding something that i feel that i am able to do for a long run)
  
• Get a domain name(done)
  
• Get a hosting service(done)
• Set-up WordPress and get a premium theme from BHW(done, Thanks for the free theme posted in the download section )
• Install plug-in(done)
• Writing 15 well-researched post and using image in the public domain(1/15)
• Set-up social media(maybe Facebook and twitter)
• Monetize(??, still unclear how to get about doing it)

Welcoming any Tips,tricks or criticism!!

Zz.Problems encountered..The website crashed on me due to theme issuse.Spend some days changing and redoing the site..
