Embarking on a new journey

Hi guys,

Here, I will share my journey with you guys about making money from a niche site.

To be honest, this will be my first project and along the way, any feedbacks will be appreciated. Maybe I can be your live case study for all the newbies out there as I am one.

So first thing's first. I have studied the basics of managing a niche site and earning money from it. I have did some research on the keyword I am targeting using long tail pro.

it was time consuming but worth it. I have taken into consideration about the factors to look out for such as PA, KC, etc.

Currently the keyword I am targeting for has about 1400 searches per month, KC about 24 (which is excellent as it is below 31). First site on Google has a PA of 17 and competition analysis shows there's a lot of niche site ranking and that is definitely a good sign.

One question, there are 2 Amazon sites ranking as well. I don't think I have anything to worry about judging from the results I've seen. But anyone can advise if it matters? Because number 1 spot is a niche site.

Hello Blackhatworld community!

So Ive just registered a domain related to my keyword. Not entirely the exact keyword but main keyword is in my domain.

Also, I have bought a hosting from MDDhosting! I've also used a 50% promo code and Ive only paid around USD$4.90 so far.

My total expenses is only USD$12 so far.

So thats my progress for now. Next step, to research more about my keyword and to find secondary keywords so I can at least have 5-10 articles writing about secondary keyword.

Ive discovered that having a primary and secondary keyword can help drive in traffic to your site and that is definitely a good way!

Currently my goal is to rank at least top 10 in Google. MAIN GOAL of course is to earn $300 per month. *ive lowered my expectations as the local searches are quite low.

I will wait 2 days to install Wordpress in my FTP client. And then, hopefully I can install a Wordpress theme and have my introduction page ready by this week!
