I am trying to decide whether to write many articles and promote them on ezinearticles or to write an ebook and get it as an affiliate program through paydotcom or clickbank? Which would be more beneficial? I know ebook would take alot more time but would it be worth it for the return?

I would say "Articles"..Long term income.

I can give you a list of websites, whose articles get top positions on google serps, let me know if you need it.

My rule of thumb is articles for traffic to sales pages (income) and eBooks for email capturing. And of course with this setup you can just convert your articles into a brief "report" type ebook to use for capturing emails. I'm all about recycling content wherever possible.

You can make good bank selling ebooks at CB or PDC, but only if you get good affiliates promoting your book, or you build a group of average affiliates and hand-feed them everything from keyword lists to sales/email copy and graphics, along with marketing strategies. Too much work for me, I'd rather invest the time in articles for traffic to my own sales pages.

Just my opinion on it.

split on two parts, publish the 1st part and sell the 2nd one.

Give the 1st part to affiliates "free gift" (a promotion method), and make shure they include your link.

If is good stuff you sell a lot.

...

Read it, if you have interest in article marketing.

Trust me, you wont regret.

I went ahead and grabbed this (via the link) and am a little confused. He mentions spending $30 per article. Is this something that is regularly practiced when spinning 100+ times? Or even 50 for that matter.

Do a lot of people here follow the "garbage in garbage out" mentality even when extensively spinning articles?

I am assuming its just easier to spin from a good framework rather than broken english $1 articles.

Write the ebook sell it on dp,wso...etc and clickbank use half that money to outsource some one to write you good quality articles. There you go you did both, while saving a lot of time.

Start off with articles. I guess you'll be promoting somebody else's cb program or something.

After it starts making you some money (fingers crossed) - write an ebook yourself (or use the money you made to pay someone else) and change your site to promote that instead.

If you don't mention the CB product in the articles they will work to drive traffic to your own product.

+ if you can sell the product yourself you will make 100% commission (- payment processing) and can reduce the refunds time to something more reasonable than cb.

If you still think you can make more money out if it after that you can look at setting up an affiliate program.

if you can write articles and ebooks on different niches ,then it won't be a hard decision, you can do both ,whateve you like

And this is the hardest decision you'll ever make? Wow...

It was supposed to be a captivating thread title so people would actually read the thread instead of most people's titles:

"I need help!"

I see....
Sorry mate, thought you were being overly dramatic instead of quite clever really.
It worked...:):)
