[Journey] 10 days with Instagram

Introduction
Hi, i have decided to start a 10 day journey with instagram on a new account that i created yesterday. This will be a short journey as I do not have a lot of time on my hands to create these things and a short journey is much easier to start with than a 30 day journey for example.

What will I do?

I will the following ten days follow, unfollow and like people and pictures in my chosen niche. I have chosen a niche with a lot of activity and this niche is also a passion of mine, which I think is a good thing as I will know what my followers want. I might continue the journey if the results are good. I seem to have chosen a good niche with high follow back rate.

No Botting

I will do this journey with no botting at all. There will only be manual actions. I do run many accounts on bots, however I am excited to see the result of doing things manually as they will be more natural than a bot (mayby). I will update this journey once per day.

My Theory

I think that with this method I will gain a lot more followers a lot quicker than when using an actually bot. I will spend about 1 hour on the account in total per day and so what the result. So here we go!

So Day 1 i posted 46 pictures to make the account look like it had some content. I posted quality content. As you can see below my follow back rate today was freakin 40%. I have never experienced this while botting. I might have just been lucky on my niche tho. Anyways happy with the result from day 1. I spent around 1,5 hours on this account today. Added a funny bio quote to my account also.

Id say 5-7K followers as long as i don't get blocked by instagram because i have followed a lot of people to begin with. heh

So today i posted just one picture but it got over 100 likes. Good or bad for having almost 1k followers? What do you think? Didnt follow as many today because im afraid to get blocked by instagram but got a decent amount of followers anyway.

I have followed a total of 2242 in two days, hah. I also use my wifi network for like 30 other accounts, (non botting) accounts. With everything from 300k followers to 20k followers. And i have never gotten a ban :S

Follow back rate really depends on niche as i observe. My follow back rate in 900 follows is just playing 150 to 200 a day. and in my other acc. 300 to 500 a day.

How do you plan do monetize your account tho?

Yeah seems like it depends alot on the niche Right now i don't have any plan on monetizing it, i do alot of other stuff than instagram so i am doing this as i still have some spare time in my day I guess i would sign up for an affiliate network in my niche, create a landing page and monetize through that, mayby ill do it later if the account grows up to around 30-50k

IMO 10% is pretty average when it comes to followers and like ratio. Mines hover between 20%-35%.

So today i posted 1 picture which got 150 likes and about 10 comments. My follow back rates are increasing up to the surprisingly 46%. Next goal is to get follow back rate to 50%, which i personally think is an awesome follow back rate. I can reveal one slight tip on why i think the follow back rate is so high:

When i follow people, i don't use hashtags, i follow users on a popular account in my exact niche, and when i follow people, i follow the ten first on the list everytime i open up to their followers, because these 10 are most likely on instagram at the moment i follow them. Thats my theory atleast

It took me quite some time (about until i had 15k followers) to bring my followback rate up to above 40% so you should look into making this a journey that lasts longer than 10 days. Sure you mentioned you don't have a lot of time on your hands, but you also mentioned it's something passionate about. Even if you have to bring a bot into the equation, it's worth keeping the account going.

Thanks for your insight, i think i will keep doing it seeing as i have had good results so far. I probably will continue however i will have to bring a bot into the equation if i am, as it is pretty time consuming to do it this way.

Day 4 is over and it enden at 2128 followers. Was hoping for 50% follow back but it is only at 47%, still a good number tho. My aim for these 10 days will be between 6-7K followers as when i reach 7500 follows i will have to start unfollowing :/ Which will slow down following alot. DARN! Happy with the results so far.

No, i am just logged into the account and everytime i find the opportunity i go into the account and follow around 10 - 20 people then i go off the cellphone and continue my other work.
