Mylikes and all the other sites shave off huge amounts. Anyone defending them is either a mylikes rep in disguise or some fool that doesn't care about monetizing their traffic themselves. Your niche plays a vital role in whether you can monetize your account or not, so start learning where your traffic comes from, what they are interested in, what causes them to click, share or buy, etc.

Buzzfeed does this, they know what their audience wants, they track them, build behavior models rendering user persona sets, etc. Theproblem is you get some people "preaching"yo don't need to do all that, well THAT is the difference from making $100 per month and $1M per month. KNOW your audience and take action to make them take action.
