Help! - Which Machine Should I Dedicate Scrapebox To?

I have my laptop (that I work on all day for my seo shenanigans/work) and then I have a desktop pc I use for web crawling software.

Laptop = intel i3 - 1.90Ghz w/ 12gb RAM
Desktop = intel core 2 quad - 2.40Ghz w/ 4gb RAM

Desktop is also directly connected into internet feed, while laptop is wireless over a Wireless-g router. According to those internet speed test sites my laptop gets about 20mbps download, 3mbps upload.

Just wondering which machine am I better running Scrapebox on? The results from SB will go into desktop crawling software, so if I use SB on desktop I suppose I could only run one at a time which will waste more time.

If SB on laptop -- I also need to work on laptop with various programs like excel, internet browsing, etc. So it cant bog the system down to all heck either.

you need a vpn home pc no good i got a 16gb 8core but needed private proxy so got a vpn
the diffrence is like cutting butter forget home setups it dont work hire a vpn way foward scrape box works grate from home desktop with private proxy otherwise forget it try a vpn never look back

What are you wanting to do specifically with Scrapebox? If your just harvesting, it uses very little bandwidth and resources. Harvesting is highly optimized and the SERPs return very small pages as its in their best interest.

No idea why the poster above is talking about a VPN, I don't think it applies to your setup at all.

So you could "probably" run SB on either machine just fine. Posting and link checking, link extractor etc.. stuff like that is where it starts eating resources.

Also if your using the moz backlink checker addon its going to be low resources as well.
