Hey all new to this form and starting SEO with Instagram. Ive been a pretty active user on IG and have a decent personal following. Started a new business and plan to use the new IG for showcasing clients work when needed as well as a gallery of my work and work of others. I guess you could say it fits into the quite saturated VSCO / Indie photog niche which is quite large. My first question is, are any of you currently in this niche?
The new account is very new 200ish natural followers and 175-250 likes in about 6 days. I've been doing all the leg work liking and commenting but I can tell its going to be tons of man hours if I, or someone else does it by hand. And im probably going to get halted at some point because i'm probably commenting and liking more than a bot does at times, and it seems with this niche its not as easy to grab followers (just with my few days of doing it)
My plan was to use Instagress for 30 days or longer and see how things go. Basically do my time and get out once I have a few thousand or so followers then go back to doing it myself. Would there be any point to doing this or is my follower count way to low to even bother? Should I wait a month of so and just keep doing it myself until it has a more substantial following? My reasoning behind choosing instagress was that it was webased and everything I use Mac I know there are work arounds but for a couple month thing I dont feel like running a VM etc.
But my last and most important question is! I know theres always a chance of getting banned when using bots, or instagress especially the first sign in. Lets say the account does get flagged my main concern is the username. I had to go over leaps and bounds with instagram to take over our current name from another user since it is trademarked. It i was to loose the account would the account be frozen and Id lose the ability to ever have that username again? thats the biggest and most important part of all this!!
