Hey everyone! Money2spare and I have just finished working on a brand new co-op link network, similar to DigitalPoint's co-op ad network, but better (DP stopped maintaining their network a while ago so it's pretty much impossible to get into it.) It's called Link-Network, and you can find it at http://link-network.org!
So how does it work? It's simple. You sign up and put a snippet of code on your website to display links to other websites in our network. Once you do so, other websites will begin displaying backlinks to your website with whatever anchor text you specify. The links throughout the network are jumbled every two days, giving you a constant stream of backlinks, which is exactly what Google loves.
Setting it up is extremely simple. There is no manual verification like on DP's old network. Instead, we give you two snippets of code to put on your server: one to receive new links from our server and another to display those links. Our server automatically checks to verify you installed the code and are displaying links for our network. Once it verifies this, you're done! When the links are jumbled again your website will be included across the network and you will start getting backlinks. Incase you were wondering, if you remove the code from your site, our system will notice and deactivate your website.
Since the load is all on our server to update your websites this will have no adverse effects on your page's loading time! We also mix up the way our links are displayed to thwart detection, just incase Google starts to penalize the network, which is unlikely in the first place. A final quick reminder is that you need access to the files of your website/blog to participate in this, so you won't be able to verify your website if you're using something like blogger. Any free host should do, and of course any paid shared hosting/dedicated servers like most of you have.
Remember this is new, so we are up for any suggestions or ideas to make the service better! Comment with any cool features or addons you guys would like to see!
