Google your niche, look at the top 10 websites and look at their content.
Now you know what your competitors are targeting

I am honestly having trouble believing this is a serious question.
Firstly - if they are your competitor, they are in the same niche as you.
Secondly - if you can't tell what niche a site is in within one second there is either something drastically wrong with the site, or with you.

Seriously OP, you should be the first one to know what your niche is - you chose it yourself, man. What is your site about? Blenders? Dogs? Weight loss meds? If you know what your niche is, chances are, and I'm pretty sure that's a 100% chance, your COMPETITOR is in the same niche too.

OP, see if you can outsource your SEO work to nonai, he will take care of your clients.
I also hear Holla1 does great work, go to him if nonai is too busy to take you on.

Assuming they are your "competitors", they are targeting the same niche you are.
Just like if you're playing basketball, chances are the other people on the court holding basketballs probably also play basketball.

ok, I understand it... I have a new restaurant website and I know my competitors too! The site is under construction and the owner is not completely sure about the mexican food... So, I would ike to know if there's a way to know easily if my same street's competitor cooks italian or mexican food? You know, I don't want to cook the same food the restaurant at the end of the street...
I have a fantastic idea, go in his restaurant and take a look at his menu. No need to thank me.
