Dear BHW-Diary, I'm starting my Journey

I was amazed by the endless opportunities the internet has to offer. At a young age I started venturing through IM, and failed. I let it rest a few years and now I'm back. Thanks to BHW. I'm willing to put much effort in becoming an Entrepeneur. To be honest the standard lifestyle isn't fit for me. I hate it and I want to be my own boss.

I'm from germany and studied communication-/fashiondesign and I want to bank with my passion.
At the moment I have 3 websites/projects which didn't made any money and I'm dead certain to change that.

Project #1:
I'm offering free webdesign and charging a monthly fee for hosting. Current earnings -80?

Project #2:
A fashion related blog which isnt saturated at all, in Germany. Current earnings -20?

Project #3:
An amazon-niche-blog for men. Current earnings -70?

I'm focussing on #1 and #2 for the moment.
Tommorow I will start my business officially by telling my goverment about it.

yea, it's total loss so far.
I'd burn through my starterbudget extremely fast if these cost were recurring.

the second day, guys.

After I created this thread yesterday I tried coldcalling possible clients. It went okay, I guess. Made 15 calls and 2 resulted in interest. I have to work on being more confident but it was a good start.

I also reached out to a few facebook friends which resulted in 5 possible clients so far. Pretty excited about that!
Meetings are sheduled for next week.

Today I registered my company so I can legally start now. Or so I thought. My bank of choice closed very early today and I didnt made it there. I have no business bank account and have to wait til monday to open one. That's kind of a downer because I wanted to walk through my city and hit some business owners up with direct deals about advertising on my website in their niche (created yesterday "DentistLeyton"-method").

I don't want to use my private account because it will get really confusing after a few clients.

I thought about going out and getting the first payment in cash but I'm afraid that it will look scammy.
Does someone have an idea how I can make cash today in a way it won't look unprofessional and scammy without a business bank account.

Still waiting for bankapproval. I laid back on the weekend. Well, not really I build the fashionwebsite and connected it with amazon. If someone want to take a look, shoot me a pm.

I'm having a job interview today in a webdesign firm (department design) for a part time job. Let's see how this will go.
On thursday I'm going to move in my new apartment which is currently without internet. Maybe I will have to make a forced vacation but we'll see about that.

This journey is just building its base right now. I hope it will take off as soon as my bank accout got approved.

Update!

I moved into my new appartement, I got my bank account and my fashion site is taking of slowly ( 3 clicks to amazon ). And I go my first webdesign client. It's going slow, but it's working.

Will update with more details tomorrow!
 
Cha-ching. Success is near, I smell it.

Just ranked on Big Gs first page for the two words my url contains (...yiha..), it's slowly gaining momentum on facebook (thanks to like jacker) and I made around 5 bucks from adsense on the last 3 days.

If someone want to take a look at it, shoot me a pn. I would post the website, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links. Would love some feedback :)!
