How to add friends safely without being flagged?

I have been trying to add real friends gradually but have been flagged for 3 times. Facebook asked me to recognize the faces each time my account was flagged.
The last time I was sending about 10 friend requests only on one day and my account was still flagged. It is annoying!
I have removed all but 10 requests now.

How can I send friends requests safely without being flagged again?
Any experience?

How about you only add friends which profile pictures you are public, so you can see their pics and easily pass the id test?

What do you mean by "lay low"? Not sending any friend request at all?
A couple of months? That's so long.

It is an old account but I started to add friends this month.

OK. I was trying to add friends very slowly this time, waiting for 30-120 mins before I sent another.

I sent about 8 friend requests. Then I sent one more about a hour or two later, but I received this warning.

Friend requests are for connecting with people you know well, like classmates, friends, family and coworkers. Please don't send this friend request unless you know this person personally.

If I send a request to another person, it may not trigger that warning. So I'm confused.
What does it actually imply? Is it ok to send another request to another person (which does not trigger this warning), or should I stop immediately?

I waited so long before I sent another. Why did it still trigger the warning? What's wrong?
What is your experience? How many friend requests do you send daily? Could you manage to avoid the recognition test?

The chances of getting banned is a lot lower (almost zero imo) because people looking for a fan base will accept you without looking who you are most of the time. They are primarily interested in growing their fan base and reach.Therefore your acceptance ratio will be high and the chance of being flagged low. Just don't go to crazy and stick to the numbers people mentioned above. Just play with it, start slowly and build up. If you add artist you know, it will be very easy to recognize in case you have to id em.

Yep I'm following similar approaches. The acceptance isn't bad. I guess it is roughly around 30%, and I deleted friend requests which were left unanswered for a few days. Still I got flagged last time after sending about 10 friend requests only on one day.
I think I am very slow now. I don't know what's wrong. Is it because I was flagged previously so Facebook placed a higher restriction on me now?
Yep I think I can manage to pass the recognition test, but I'm not sure whether Facebook will ban me next time instead of asking me to do the test.

Friend requests daily: 8-10, even though I hear higher numbers and I am very curious to test it out. Time between friend requests: Mostly just 8 people in a row with just minutes in between em.
Outside Facebook: I don't see this message often but this happens when you move to fast. I think you just need to slow down a bit. Just try to make it all look natural and make it look like a real person would behave. Don't add to much friends and don't do it too fast. If you are super active and you have a high acceptance rate you can probably do a lot more as others mentioned in related posts.

That really sucks. I added about 4-5 friend requests today. Still I got flagged after many hours after I sent the last friend request.
It asked me to pass both recognition test and ID proof.
This is the second time Facebook requested ID proof for the same account. Oh! How come? I thought I only need to submit once.

This mechanism is absurd and nonsensical.
It looks like this account needs a long rest before adding friends again.

Looks like you have already reached a certain point and Facebook tolerates less then usual from your account. I think member peepin2me was right from the start: Lay low for a while. In the meanwhile you can perhaps start creating a few new accounts.

Hello, add it by not more then 20 friends per day and not often then 2 friends in 1 minute.

I haven't sent any friend requests, but I accepted 5 friends requests in these two days.
I was flagged again when I checked my account today. Hmm... Is it still a problem that I accepted a friend who sent me a request? How ridiculous?

I sent 9-10 group join requests and about half were accepted. I waited for about 15 mins or more before I sent another. I didn't get any issue or warning at that time. I was flagged about 6-11 hours later after I sent the last join request.

I posted relevant posts (non-ads) to various groups. I got good numbers of likes and comments I don't think this is the cause.

Any clue what's wrong?
