Re-purpose a domain in another language for PBN ?

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if it's allright if I purchase an expired domain for my PBN and repurpose in another language than it was ?

ex: If I buy a domain that was an english website and I rebuilt in in French. Or I buy a French Domain and rebuilt/re-purpose it in English ?

Is it a bad idea SEO wise for my PBN ?

Because I have a French Money Site and Good French Domain are not common, it's pretty rare compared to english domain...

What do you think ?

I think you dont have any other choice than repurposing, but dont forget that linkjuice is linkjuice and it does not understand languages.

At the moment it is a working technique, but maybe in a couple of months is not working anymore, big G is always changing quick.

You could always put a spin to it - instead of repurposing it, why make add a second language to the site - like have an English version of the site and a French one? That would work in both cases and look natural.

That's actually a good idea for the start, after some time you could get rid of the english version, so no need to keep both updated.

How are you looking for French domains at the moment? Brokers, expired domain lists, crawling? There are ways to get .fr domains if you really want them and I would suggest that they would be more effective in the long run.

Some brokers but I know very little... and some expired domain lists. But I am not looking for .fr since I am not targeting France. I am looking for some .com, .net, .org and .ca french domains.
