There, I said it. I can't stand the daily rhythm. Every day, every week, every month, and every year it just goes round and round. Working like a slave from 9 - 5. Can't stand this rhythm.

Anyways, now that I'm done whining. :D Let me tell you what am I up to.

I have two strategies.

1. Providing *blue widget* services

There is a specific service that I can provide for companies. My goal is to rank my own website. So that I can be found for my service. The market isn't too big. Around 300 - 500 people are looking for it every month. But one sale can bring in somewhere around 1000$. So one sale per month will do the trick.

My progress so far.

I started to build manual web 2.0.

This is the progress so far, for the main keyword.

I build one and the wait to see how it will improve the rankings. I've built three so far.

The first one was a wordpress.com web 2.0 . With two articles, I wrote an about us page. +15 in serp

The second - also wordpress.com web2.0 this time I added only two articles. Nothing else. Result - +15 in serp

The third - blogger.com platform. Also only two articles, but I filled out all the details for the author. Result - well nothing much. I don't know is it the blogger platform, or something else was at fault that the serps didn't improove.

Next up.

I'm gonna build two wordpress web 2.0 this week. To see if blogger platform was at fault.

2. Site rentals

I'm going to build business card like websites for a specific business. Rank them for keywords and then rent them out to businesses. This might become a nice passive income stream.

Next week goals:

1. Build 2 - 4 wordpress sites.
2. Finish the website for site rentals.

you need to build tier 2 contextuals for that web2.0s and also 4 are not enough, you need at least 20

600$ won't do it. Do not think small. Think big and even if you fall short, you're still golden.

Well as far as I know, there isn't a necessity for spammed tier 2 links. if on average one web 2.0 gives me +10 in rankings I'm cool with it.

You gotta start somewhere. :D

i know where this journey is going :P

And that would be?

I forgot to add. The current rankings for the 4 keywords that I'm aming right now.

Good news,

This morning I checked rankings.

Keyword #1 - 33 +2
Keyword #2 - 32 +20
Keyword #3 - 54 -1
Keyword #4 - 100 +16

These are some pretty good improvements. Today in the evening I will be adding one more quality web 2.0. This time based on wordpress.

It looks like the blogger web 2.0 took a bit longer to start giving some juice to my page.

I cannot bear the idea of working everyday 9-5 doing same shit over and over again, as well. I am glad that you took action to change what you don't like. You're going in the right direction, and I am sure that you'll get success if you work smartly. Good luck mate and keep us posted with new updates, it helps us learn new things. :)

UPDATE

I built a quality web 2.0 yesterday, it is yet to be indexed. Still 3 to go this week.

Haven't started working on the site that I'm going to rent, I will do it this week for sure.

As for SERP's, good news again.

Keyword #1 - 27 +6
Keyword #2 - 33 -1
Keyword #3 - 34 +20
Keyword #4 - 102 -2

At the moment I'm putting most of my efforts on KW #2

UPDATE

Still going strong. In the last two days I've built two web 2.0 one wordpress one tumblr, I will probably see results this weekend from them. The web 2.0 that I build are pretty simple. Two or three original, handwritten articles. Some pictures and thats all.

For some of them I put all the articles in straight away, for some, I set it to post them later during the week.

Keyword #1 - 16 +11
Keyword #2 - 30 +3
Keyword #3 - 31 +3
Keyword #4 - 100 +2

Nice, nice. You're making good progress. Just keep building some links and the rankings will come. :)

UPDATE

Its been quiet the past days, regardings to SERP's. Too quiet I'd say. *smokes pipe*

Anyways, I've noticed a pattern, the rankings get udated every 7 days. I don't know why is that, but looking at history, it gets updated on 7th or 8th day.

I've built some Web 2.0 so far. And picked up some keyword variations that are also ranking.

Keyword #1 - 17 -1
Keyword #2 - 32 -2
Keyword #3 - 32 -1
Keyword #4 - 100 same

UPDATE

Everything is still going on, I'm building web 2.0, I haven't seen any big changes in the rankings though. It seems to stay the same, just some small climbs.

One thing that I noticed though, was dublicate content on web 2.0. When I google for a paragraph of an article for already indexed web 2.0 It shows three results with the same article. (all of them are from my web 2.0 just differenct URL's) So the article ends up on homepage, the post page, and in authors page. I'm pretty sure google would consider this dublicate content. Is there any way around it?

Thanks.

Keyword #1 - 28 -11
Keyword #2 - 27 +5
Keyword #3 - 34 -2
Keyword #4 - 85 +15
