Cloak My Affiliate's Id?

So I am in the process of launching a product on Clickbank.

One of my main focuses is to help my affiliates as much as possible with conversions. I will be providing swipes, banners, follow ups that will credit them sales, etc.

One thing I want to do is hide the ugly
'?hop=AffiliateID'

Could I just set a redirect on my sales page to my main sales page, so that the cookie is set for the affiliate, but the url displayed will be
'Www.mysalespage.com'

As per my knowledge, you can use pretty links at your site to hide your id etc, but when user will land on publisher site, your id will appear in url for sure.

If I'm not mistaken, I am assuming you are talking abut cloaking affiliate links if I was the affiliate...

Im the vendor/publisher. Im wondering how to remove the affiliate's ID to only show the clean looking url,whilst crediting them for the sales.

Why don't you shorten the link?

Setting the cookie and then redirecting may be considered cookie stuffing. Not good.

I probably should have mentioned that I am referring to what shows in the address bar, not the link. I want the address bar to show 'www.mysalespage.com'
Instead of
'Www.mysalespage.com/?hop=affiliateid'
I see vendors sales pages do this, and wish to know how.

Im Use base64 to cloak all...+js
