Are people still activly using Ultimate Demon and link building software ?

I "Believe backlinks are my week point"

So I have bought ultimate demon and I am beginning to use it . I do not want to waste a bunch of time so here are my questions .

1. I found a huge footprint list on this forum but the software is fairly slow and has a high fail rate for adding sites. I "guess" I am looking to purchase a "self add site list"?

2. My niche is carpet cleaning and several construction services but I am only trying to get local results , I have submitted to lots of directory , any other help would be highly appreciated !

1. I've not used UD, but if the current db sites that are listed in aren't enough then YES go for the self add site list.

2. You've submitted your site to quality directories or the spammy ones? If you've used the direct linking to your money site then I'd suggest you to stop doing this now and follow the tier backlinking techniques.

Yes quality directories, yelp, yahoo, Angie list , manta , bbb ect.... I was trying to use UD for my fb page , yelp and thumbtack for a tester , my main competition has those pages pr1 ! Plus his money site ! All for Carpet cleaning Virginia beach , I believe he hired a company last year that used something like UD and his results have stayed up there for some time now ! I am learning the software but the scraping part is time consuming , any help on finding self add site list ? And any help with niche scraping ? Thanks Mike
