What works better for autoblogs: super long tail keword phrases in targeted niches (according to the ebooks) o more popular KW no matter the high competition?

You can generate a lot of traffic with long tail keyword titled blog entries.

Like "Why is my poop green?", bad example of course.

long tailed keywords are always going to far more targeted than mass keywords, which is going to get you more clicks.

Argh! I had to do it. I had to do a search on "Why is my poop green?"

So, here's the answer:

So where does green poop come from?
There are mainly two causes for having a green bowel movement, your diet and fast evacuation. Eating foods that are green (such as vegetables) will make your feces a mossy green, and eating lots of lollipops or Jell-O will make it a brighter, vivid green. Eating foods rich in iron is another cause. The more you eat, the more greener your poop will be!

"More greener"?

As a matter of a fact, one doesn't have much chance of choosing keywords, besides title/ subtitle of the site, categories and tags, the rest is what wpomatic wants!

I get good traffic from just highly searched key words for example. iPhone is the keyword my site would be called. iphone-reviews.com

Trust me here :)

i'd use a keyword rich url (not necessarily a long tail) and then get caffeinated content to do your long tail stuff - or you could use a keyword replace plugin and insert your long tail stuff after

Could you please elaborate that a little bit more, please?
What kind of "keyword replace plugin " are U talking about?

My general idea is that very popular KW is what works for autoblogs!

Ultra targeted kw's for very small niches work for regular "Bum Marketing a la Travis Sago"
