The problem with a VPN service is you have many people using the same IP at once and you can only switch to one IP at a time. If someone is using the IP you're using for crazy things then your software may not post as optimally as you would want it to.

there are some other vpn services similar to hidemyass .. its going to take more hit and miss if you are not using private proxies

That's some crazy stuff right there. VPNs share their IP pools with hundreds if not thousands of users who knows what they're doing with them.
