Hello. So my goal is to create many twitter accounts a day. I notice that I was able to create about 2 accounts per day on each of my laptops before being forced to enter a phone number to verify the account. I have 4 laptops and also go to my school's library to use their computer so I am able to create around 8 or so twitter accounts a day. I wanted to step this up though because it would be nice to create 100 accounts a day. I am not very familiar with what is causing the restriction... if it was solely the ip then how come I am able to create multiple twitter accounts on the same wifi using my different laptops? For example, I can create 2 on my first laptop, then the 3rd try I get hit with the phone number verification. I can then move to my 2nd laptop and create 2 more twitter accounts without being asked for phone number verification... This kind of makes me believe that there is something being placed on my laptop to determine my restriction. I have tried clearing my firefox cookies but that doesn't reset the limit so i'm kind of baffled.
Regardless, I thought purchasing private proxies might allow me to create more twitter accounts. I bought 5 (a package of 5 private proxies) from (a site that I guess is against rules to state) however the very first proxy I tried, using firefox, I wasn't even able to create 1 twitter account. Maybe I am doing something wrong? This is my first time ever using a proxy. I followed the on site instructions. I verified that the proxy was working by using google to check what my ip on firefox was. Is there more that has to be done then simply making sure the ip is the proxy ip?
Thank you for any help... kind of frustrated.
