Question #1:
Suppose you had a large ecommerce company. 10k+ products, lets say 50 categories, 300 subcategories, 110k indexed pages, 200k backlinks.

How would you focus on on page content, content marketing, and link building?
How would you organize the campaign?
What tools would you use?

I would make sure it was all unique if already unique I would make sure I built more pages and had good meta descriptions. Content marketing I would build (wordpress free blogs) to the main site keyword optimized to get traffic to the main site as well as give SEO links to the main website. Link building I would focus mainly on free wordpress blogs like I mentioned before not much more then that article marketing too if wanted.

I would get the stats (traffic stats) and optimize for keywords I don't have yet. I would organize this with data from the website what keywords were already getting top ranks.I would also use a ranking checker to check to see which are top 20 ranked and use article marketing to get top ranks in Google/Yahoo/Bing. Also natural looking forum links never hurt.

I would use these tools:
Google search engine
Google keyword planner

I don't use blackhat tools I mainly track rankings with websites that provide up and down rankings from month to month.

Suppose you have $1k to invest. How would you start, maintain, and link build a private network?

That is easy I would only invest domain/hosting and do the rest of the work myself cause I do content best.
Anyway that is my honest answer. I would use article marketing to market the blog network and use .com or .net or .org EMD domains with 4,000+ searches.

I don't promote using duplicate content which is what most of that is.

I use a few different keyword tools one being Google Keyword planner I am not worried about competition I just want to know generally how many searches a term gets so I know what I will get when rank #1 on Yahoo Bing and Google

On wordpress free blogs its easy free and gets traffic to my main websites. I use YouTube for direct traffic generation.

I don't suggest burning any website.

Natural looking forum posts looks like they are from other people to your main blog = natural links

I would suggest only using a small budget when building a website enough for hosting/domain and writing all seo optimized content yourself just include the keyword in the article a few times in beginning and at the end.

Yahoo Answers (good for traffic in some niches)
blog commenting (there had to be a 5th right I don't really do this anymore)



I just ranked a client #1 in Yahoo/Bing and soon Google I can't show you their ranking but I can show you mine.

I'm not saying my methods are perfect they just work ! never even said I was a guru but if you want help I am here to help.

Next time consider how you approach something like this.
People do not like AMA cause they insinuate you are some guru. If that is the case, prepare to be grilled and you need to show some evidence or actually write something valuable to read
Some advice would be to create a thread and tell people a real method they can use or write a journey and talk about some of the hows and whys

Here I would just suggest using a good backlink checker and disavowing the links
Also a large number of quality links will outweigh small spammy ones that are not normal in your profile. But disavowing is still a good idea and honeslty this only really matters in Google in most cases.
