Has anyone had success with the new top-level domains released in the past year or so?
With a system like this isn't most of the traffic directed anyways?

Thanks Meathead. I'll give this a go.

Just so I'm clear, lets say the niche I pick is weight loss.

The Tl;dr version of this is:

Setup a website for niche X, find some products on CB relating to niche X such as
:Screenshot 2015-02-26 01.14.27.png
I then review "The Fat Loss Code" on my website, like I've bought it and provide my CB affiliate link on my site, in the hope people click it and buy it.
For every 1 sale of "The Fat Loss Code" I produce, I get 50% of $90

I ignore any product that has less than 75% payouts to affiliates, and by the look of the gravity of that product, so have many other affiliates.

For a good guide on how to choose which products to promote, see the following:

Don't just review one product either - have at least 3 and make one of the reviews "awful" to build trust.

Disqus are such tightasses now with their comment system. Aside from FB and Yahoo Answers I'm running out of ideas. Anyone can chip in?

Thanks Freddy!

Does anyone have an example website they can share where they are doing this, a direct PM would be fine. I'd just like to understand from a users point of view, what it is exactly they are seeing.

For me personally, it seems a bit odd that a member of the public would visit a blog, where all they do is review other peoples products and link to them, and then promote these blog reviews by posting on other websites about a good review of product X they found, and then linking back to their blog.

I guess I'm struggling with the fact that people actually read and buy these products. I thought this all stopped years ago when the ebook fad died out, however willing to give this a shot!

I've found a product on CB which seems to be an OK shot for a first attempt. $25.35/sale, 75%/sale, Grav: 29.98

Next step is to make a general yet targeted niche URL, something like buildmuscletodayDOTcom for example.
Then to setup Wordpress on the site and add some posts in there about muscle building.
In between that, add in a review post for my product and link to it

Then start scouring the internet for articles relating to muscle building etc and post about how I found a review of product X on (my website) and how it helped

Yesterday I started a blog, but I can't find my site in google pages (according to the updated method).
How many time does it take to appear in google search pages?

I don't believe that matters if you're using this method, as it relies on you going out and commenting about your site, on other sites in the same niche

Ok, I'm trying with comments on social networks and blogs. In two days only 15 visits and no purchases.
I feel there's something wrong... Comment example on a running article:

"I wish I had read this while I was struggling to lose weight with running. I was doing my best to eat right and run every day to lose weight, but I just wasn't seeing it. Thankfully after a few years I was able to find a good diet and I started a really good workout program that has helped me lose 40 pounds! You can find a review of that workout program here *link* ... its definitely worth having a look at girls.
For those who are still working hard to lose weight and struggling the best advise I can give is to not give up and keep trying new things."

How is it that?
Has it value?

You're certainly doing better than me. I added some comments to 3 or 4 websites as I was struggling to find any using Google Search Tools (it was weight loss)

I had 5 visits in one day

I am able to post just non-clickable URLs to disqus (without http:// prefix).

And i am not able to post anything to yahoo answers - how are you doing that? Are you sure the link is really there? Have you tried to check the answer URL from a different browser or just being logged out from YA? I post an answer with my link, get 2 points for it, then check it from different browser and answer is not there...

In the 4 years, 67 pages and over 3000 responses that this thread has had, there is not a single post saying "Yahoo answers make you money with this method, and is worth investing your time in" - yet there are hundreds of other posts teaching other ways of promoting/linking to your site that are way more profitable and a much more productive use of the most important resource you have: your time.

So, my question is this: Why are people still talking about Yahoo answers?

Could it be, that despite almost every other person who has made money with this method said that they "read the whole thread", that they decided this was not worth their time?

Read the entire thread guys. It might take you a few hours, but it will save you weeks and months of wasted effort and in the long run will be worth it.

I'm getting real tired of saying the same thing over and over.

Just read the thread already - every post.

Yes, it's 67 pages, it's long, you will have to read a lot of crappy posts by noobs saying "thanx - will try dis ting" - but it's worth it, if you read the whole thread then take action, you will make money.

You also woud not be wasting any time on Yahoo answers either.

Currently have 900 unique views on my site, 140 hops, 1 conversion after about a week. But this is mostly from bing ads alone, I haven't had time to post on blogs and news articles but I'm going to try to get a lot of posts out over the weekend and see if I can get more conversions!

You are again absolutely right. In my case i have cut and pasted all importent part of discussion in to word document. In case of any doubt as i move forward it is easy to refer back to the document. And if some part is not clear you have google and youtube always at your disposal. For further clarification u have this dicussion going on with experienced people like Fredyjames and meathead. In such case your question and the answer you get will always enrich the method itself
thnks and regards

Hi, guys.
Here I am reporting back again, after a bit of a break I had to take to sort out some offline life issues.
So, the past two weeks I really didn't had the time to properly work the method, just a few post here and there when I have time.
I am currently working with one product, and I gave up on the first product (both sales turned into refunds, figured the product is crap).
Like I said, I was busy with other stuff, and had no results, but as soon as I started working a bit more seriously again, last 2 days, I got another sale.
So the results with the product I am working with are:
633 unique visitors to my site
260 hoops
3 sales = 75$
So for all of those, who are still asking if the method works, just look at my results, and have in mind, that I haven't yet worked in full capacity.
I did maybe 50% of what I could have done since I started(various distractions), but will try to get to 100% starting Monday.
The plan is to improve my page, get more posts, and to find a couple more products to work with. I also need to start building a list(haven't figured out completely how to get the emails, need to work on that). With all of this I can truly see the light at the end of the tunnel, and those 100$ a day.
I think that the main problem the people have with the method, is that they give up to easy, and what I have seen so far is that the inconsistency can be a bit frustrating (first sale on hoop 3, second somewhere around 25 then a 100 hoops nothing...), but keep in mind that everything that pays of, requires work and patience, and we are adults and should have the discipline to see this through. Hope I helped with my post.
Best of luck to everyone, I'm off to work :)
