tell you what , if you put links to the episodes that are hosted on another sites or embed them on your posts you are still breaking some copyright rules.
You are helping people to get faster and more easier to the copyrighted material .
Here's something that maybe will change your mind linking to copyrighted material .
hxxp://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2008/05/linking-to-movies-leads-to-4-million-in-fines.ars
I own a movies site too but i don't give people anything at all only a link to Graboid (they register and watch the movies)
So anyways , if you got 4 mil $ to pay if you get sued than go ahead.
Anyways , this is a good method and I'm sure will work fine!

There are TONS of site promoting movie/tv shows downloads/streams. There's no way they're taking everyone down.. Also, those sites mentioned in the article were pretty popular. It makes sense that they're going after the big sites (for ex piratebay), but there's just no way they'll bother with these kind of sites. I'll take my chances, anyhow..

i've thought about doing this kind of thing for awhile. the only problem is that this could be too easily trackable/traceable in the digital age, especially as studio revenue streams continue to dry up and an easy of income could be had through suing owners of these sites (especially if they profited from copyrighted content).

heck, things are so bad for the entertainment industry that i just saw a television commercial for Prince's new cd being sold at Target bundled with 2 cd's from two other artists- 3 cd's for only $11.98, lol. i remember when the average price for 1 cd was $11.98 and could go as high as $18 - $20 for those "special edition" ones. with the global economy melting down, studios have to get money somehow so don't be surprised if more lawsuits creep up.

so, even if you use a privately registered domain or fake details in your blog account, etc... as long as you're receiving payment somehow from an affiliate network that has some accurate level of your personal details, things could one day come back to bite you with a huge bill from the gov, DMCA, or studios for profitng from massive copyright infringement regardless of any *disclaimers....

or, maybe you can get away with it. good luck to you. :)

Hi, sorry for the noob question, but how do i make people fill out the survey before they can watch the episode?

Is that youku site good for video traffic like YT?, mmm let me try that...

i might as well try to find another twist with this method, beacuse i don't wanna get in jail........:newangel:
anyway, nice thread....

these types of sites were thriving back in the day before everyone got used to zango gateways.. it is pretty easy money, but the legal factors are a deterrent to some

i already have a niche in mind for this, thanks alot ... this may be dumb for me asking but does anyone know where to go for a cpalead account?

idea is really good one.
But... trust me... for such stuff you can go to jail. I am serious.
Or... your CPA company will close your account.
So think twice before applying

The day I go to jail for this is the day hell freezes over (yeah, no imagination here)

cpalead is 100% ok with these sites. I've talked with my am several times about my sites, on how to improve it etc.. So I say you have no idea what you're talking about.

If you knew it was posted a few times before.. why did you post this again?

What I meant to say was that the general idea has been used before, but not this exact method.

people just need to settle down. You won't get in trouble. Worst case scenario you get a cease and desist and they will take down your site and thats it! I ran a psp iso site and we just linked to the iso's. Site is still going strong. Nothing is being hosted so you are fine. But feel free to worry! I will take advantage :D
