My Amazon to Ebay journey thread - Made $170 in 3 weeks

I have been mostly a lurker on this site but I just wanted to make this journey thread as a step to become more active here. I fucking love making money on internet. I made my first dolla loong time back during school on the donkeymails thing. Since then I have been hooked on this idea of making money from my bedroom.

I have known about the Amazon to Ebay method for a while now, but didn't really give it a shot until last month. And I decided to take action on this.

I started researching products where I could bank and then put a few listings on ebay. I was really dissapointed when I saw I can only do 10 listings a month. I almost gave up, but then I decided to go ahead and see for myself how far can I go. To my luck, I made my first sale within 2 days. Then in the same week I made another sale on another product. I had a total of 5 different products and only 2 seemed to get attention. So I removed the useless ones and increased quantities for the ones that were sold.

In about 3 weeks I have sold total of $780 of products and made $170 profit. Considering I am not a pro, I am happy with these numbers. I just found out that I can make 3 more ebay accounts attached to same Paypal. I am going to go ahead and make another account, experiment with some new products. (Correct me if I am wrong about the multiple accounts)

I have been mostly using Prime, not because of the free shipping but because I get the gift option and avoid the invoice. I haven't found "send as gift" option on non-prime items (Maybe someone could clarify on this).

I am going to continue posting updates on this thread. I aint getting lazy on this.

2) Put few listings on ebay (0 seller feedback)
3) Sold $780 worth product with $170 profit in 3 weeks.

Right now my aim is to make $700 per month. I just hope Amazon doesn't put the banhammer on me. Wish me luck!

Any advice on picking items? And how long are your items on eBay for until they're sold?

Thanks. Regarding products, I was lucky that one of my items that I selected was really in demand so its selling well. As for another one, its selling like 1 per 7-10 days. All my items are buy it now. One stays for like just 1 day and is sold, another stays for like 10 days maybe. It all varies though. Since I've been doing this only for 3 weeks, nothing can be inferred.

You've done really well so far. How much profit are you making on each item?

Thanks man. Usually about 10 on one of my items. And I usually sell 2-6 of it in one go. On another product I made $60 after ebay fees etc.

You sold brand new items dropshipped from Amazon to a brand new ebay account? When most people lose the ebay account within minutes if you list a brand new product or name brand product on a new account.
Is the Amazon account you are using stealth or real?
Many of us are luck to get 5-500 limits. How are you getting 100 limits on brand new accounts and ebay allowing you to sell brand new products.
Any time I posted a new item the account went down within the hours if not minutes.

Are you sure about the selling brand new item thing? I am just using normal account. No stealth. I had 10 item limit initially but I sold about 6 items and got 1 positive feedback. After than I got 100.

You said you profited $170 out of $780. This is a great profit margin. I think key to making strategy work is by finding products with good profit margin as EBay fees (10%) + PayPal fees (3%) eat away at profits..

Also it seems you do not need a lot of good feedback to make sales as you mentioned you used a brand new account. People will trust new accounts as long as you are delivery.
