I've been making quite a bit of money with clickbank over the last few days and i've had a couple of refunds. I've set up my payment method to weekly, and it's sent to my bank account, and I always get paid the next wednesday, but what I don't understand is, what if they pay me for the sales i've made then someone who bought one of the products i was promoting requests a refund...what happens then? where does the refund money come from if it's already been paid to me?

Paypal holds a small portion of your earnings and releases it at a later date.
That's one way they cover the money for refunds.

I get it straight to my bank account...

He meant Clickbank, they hold a certain percentage of your earnings for refunds. Then they pay you that percentage back after something like 60 or 90 days.

I think it must take into account the historical return percentage and use that as some sort of base. if sales you made got refunded, it only makes sense that you would not get the money

I made like $300 with about 5 sales since like the past 3 days, how much do you think i'd get out of that?

Depends on your refund rate. but i would say between actual refund and amount that PayPal holds, then you should get about 80% to 90% (on average).
