Is this a serious question? I'd rather have 500 people paying me 500 dollars a month just getting them backlinks than do anything else. You don't have manage anything, track inventory, conversions, ads, web maintenance, etc, etc and all the other issues involved with running an online business.

And who's to say they aren't using these services to rank their own sites. But there's thousands of profitable keywords out there, they can't possibly run profitable websites for all of them.
