What is the best free tools to find your competitors backlinks?

Group buy Majestic. I always thought Ahrefs was the best but I find myself almost purely using Majestic. Love Trust Flow, Citation Flow and the topical trust thing too. I also find Ahrefs and Majestic both miss as many links as each other.

Majestic doesn't make it easy to sort backlinks though only referring domains.

Free tools are completely useless.

Don't use Moz, their owner is Matt Cutts' best friend forever.

I think all these services are screwed up to be honest, and none of them give accurate numbers. Most of the time, when I manually check the URL's that OpenLinkProfiler says have backlinks to the target site on them, I can't find the backlink anywhere within the page, even when I view the source code. Not to mention, OpenLinkProfiler, Majestic, and aHrefs all return different numbers and results, which is really confusing, because I don't know which of them, if any, are even remotely accurate.

I have found these days a lot of people who rely on private blog networks for links stop the most common link data sites from crawling their network. This is how you sometimes see sites that rank really well for competitive search terms having no apparent backlinks.

Well google search is free if you know what search operators to use.
I like to save time so I spend the $79/mo and use ahrefs, and love it.

You can pay someone $5 on fiverr and they will get all the links for 5 sites.

They will use ahrefs so if you already have it you can do it yourself. If not just pay $5

I use ahref to find competitor's backlinks which is really great to use.
To export all the backlinks,I use Backlink Monitor tool which is very easy to use and give you total backlinks of your competitors.
