Does anybody know where I can find a free shopping cart that will collect my clients cc details? I need buy buttons that are in html format. Something simple that I can just plug into my site.

Authorize.net is just a payment gateway. You would need to integrate this with the shopping cart. Also, the use of Authorize.net requires a merchant account, which is definitely not free.

Google Zeus Shopping Cart, or osCommerce shopping cart. Both are open-source, and html/php based if I recall...

use joomla/virtuemart you will also need an ssl cert if you are wanting to collect your customers CC details but to be honest your opening yourself up for a whole bunch of security issues

use a third party gateway to handle the cc transactions as you dont want someone hacking your site and getting access to your CC info
