Question about EPN & PayPal

Hey guys,

I have a couple of questions for you long-time EPN/PayPal users..

01. I'm assuming you receive your payment quicker through PayPal than you would through direct deposit, correct?

02. Does PayPal take out their normal fees whenever eBay sends the payment through, or do you get the full payment?

03. When eBay sends the funds to your PayPal account, are the funds immediately able to be transferred to a bank account/spent or is there a hold on the funds until they "clear"?

To make it easier in answering the questions, I have a PayPal business account, not basic. It is also bank account verified and has a debit card attached.

While I use DD (it's safer) I can answer.

1- One day quicker.

2- No.

3- No. However if your payment is large (or larger than a normal transaction) it can limit your paypal account just like any other transaction.

Like to disagree with that one because Ebay OWNS PayPal. And their payment should not show up as fraud or suspicious activities. Thus it should not limit your PayPal.

That's kind of what I was thinking too when I read his post.. I don't see how it would turn up suspicious when the money is coming from one of their companies.

Either way ... Was the "No." answer on number two aimed at the fact that they do NOT take out fees? Or aimed at they DO take out fees? The guy who answered #2 didn't make sense because I asked two questions there, the no could have gone to either one...

well the fees cut with the acquisition of the payment processor made the egay's to top up their pie . Thing is ... it's absolute stupid from their part to take fees from their own mom-company don't you think ?

They wouldn't be taking the payment from their parent company, they would be taking it from whoever is receiving the payment.
