YIFY - Did you notice this?

Try searching YIFY on google.
First return is a scam website with fully functional torrents with good amount of seeds.
The file is a video file in the right format and with believable audio, but there is a message for you to download the right codec from their website (no other image is shown in the video).
AND THEN you are redirected to a PPD offer.

Just wanted to share as I fell for half of it.
(I downloaded the file, but suspected when I saw the message and realized what it was about when I saw the offer page)

I'm not sure if I can post links, but as of today, the website I'm taking about is the first in google for "YIFY" search. The website is YIFY-movies-official.
Again, not going to post links, but if you look at xda-developers forum, you can find a thread explaining that this is fake/scam, but I believe there is a huge amount of people who will fall for this.

Since I am not explaining a method I didn't want to share in the making money area, but it is a good idea to learn from.
What do you think?

Seems you found the wrong forum. BHW is not for you...try WF or GFY forum they are better for you.

Nothing new in this, most of the popular torrent sites/watch on line streaming sites have ripoffs doing the same thing.

And yeah, I know that there is nothing new to the idea, I was just surprised it was ranked 1st on google for a name which the original website is quite popular.
Maybe I shouldn't be surprised... just wanted to share.

It happens a lot with those types of sites, especially where they have been banned in certain countries or been removed because of DMCA, so the real site doesn't even show up in SERPs
