Hello ,
i launched my first project online this week this is all details about it :

1 - i have searched for a niche with low competition and good monthly search amount (8100 monthly search)
2 - i have setup a website (the domain contain the main keyword)
3 - i have purchased some articles targeting the main keyword and some other related niche keywords and i'm waiting for them
4 - now i'm thinking about the SEO part about my site a,d here were i need your help guys ! my plan is to set social networks pages about my site and start promoting them. i'm aiming the first page of Google because the competition is low so i need from you good white hat SEO tips.

Ps : i'll appreciate any advice you'll give to me here , i'm totally new and this is my first project online ! i'm very excited to develop my self and my strategy of work.

This should of been posted in the journey section I think :)

But are you planning to do backlinking?

And when you say your niche has 8100 searches, do you mean for your KW? I'm new to this, but I feel a niche should have a larger audience than 8100? Maybe someone with more experience can pipe in

Hey DFWI Reaper ,
Thanks for your reply ! First i don't want to make a journey because this is my first project Online , this will help me to discover this world and get more experience. Secondly i'm willing to do backlinking of course but my plan is to do only high quality and get them from social networks (FB , Twitter , Pinterest , Tumblr ...) ! and finally about the search volume , my main keyword have 8100 search monthly but others keywords related to my niche don't have a big amount of monthly search.

and now i'm searching for other methods to rank my site higher !

tiered link building is the most effecive way right now. theres a lot of tools out there that will also help you rank

If its exact match, 8100 good enough for low competition.

Niche related forums.
Guest-post (blogs).
Comments on posts and articles.
Q/A websites.
web2s (only good ones).

Just make the normal link pyramid, tiers 1 for your site and lot of tier2 and tier3 links to your tier1 links
the tiers1 links take some time since you are doing manually

Thanks Guys for this advice , i don't know what is tiered link building at first but after i have searched about it i can conclude that tier 1 links lead to my site directly (those must be high quality) , but my question is if i do a tier1 link on a Facebook post for example how can i do a tier2 link to it and a tier3 for the tier2 link ?? i'm a little bit confused

Hi. The other thing to be sure of is that you're not picking up your "low Competition" analysis from the keyword planner. Good luck!

Hey cataratas , no my "low competition" analysis for my main keyword is picked up throw the Google keyword planner !

Hey Mermer. It's just that low competition in the keyword planner refers only to competition bidding for google ads not low competition in search results for the keyword. I hope that makes sense- it's late here in my corner of the universe and I'm tired.
There's plenty of posts/threads about this here especially in threads to do with keyword research.
Bon chance.

For my first project online, I wrote an article every other day targeting low competition long tail keywords. After about a month or so, I was getting about 20-30 visitors daily. I didn't build any backlinks.

I would suggest you start off with good articles and content and then think about building links and such.

Hello rafa16 , thanks for replying , i want to ask you how your visitors sow your site while you didn't any kind of work on SEO ?

First of all please search this forum you will get so many info about seo

Hey Mermer, if you submit your sitemap to google webmaster tools and use the Fetch as Google option in Google Webmaster tools to index your posts, google will find your website and articles and you will rank for the low competition keywords without any backlinks. This way you will get organic traffic. I was skeptical at first, since I thought it was a must to build backlinks, but after experimenting I found out that it is not. I build backlinks after I am already ranking for keywords, and I do that just by writing articles constantly and submitting them via google webmaster tools.

If you have any questions you can PM me and ill go into more detail.

Hi mermer99, since you're just starting out you could try implementing the backlinking strategies explained on Backlinko (just look it up on Google). Those are very basic but they could help to kickstart your campaign.

Good luck man, I haven't gotten to the point of trying my first project, but i hope to very soon once i develop a clear picture of my strategy. I am still a little blurry on several key aspects of this whole process. Oh well, Just got to keep researching!
