Glad to see you will be taking orders again soon! Do you think the need to pause incoming orders will be a regular thing now or was it a one off ?

Need to place a order but your website show: "We will be open to take new orders on January 23, Friday !!!!"
Problem is today is already the 25th
Pausing order taking when u are busy will not help you, in fact it is making things worse, because everyone is now waiting for ordering to open and when u do open everyone will flood u with orders on the day you open as people have been unable to order.
The right thing would have been to continue accepting orders but simply put a note on the site, that new orders will be delayed because of high workload, then when things coo down again you simply remove the note.
I will wait another 24 hours ( 26 Jan. ) if not open you lost a regular customer as i have no option but to get the articles done somewhere else, as the show must go on.....

I apologize about the delay. We?ve opened the form back up for new orders and we welcome clients back to us.
We had a tremendous volume of orders over a period of a few days which caused a backlog to the tune of over 300 thousands words of articles. Our writers work with us full time, but our team has only a daily capacity to complete a portion of what came in, so we closed down our page to prevent massive delays on new orders, and also to prevent an escalating backlog which would hamper our ability to spend proper time on each article.
We?ve surveyed our customers in the past about this and quality of content was always more important than the delivery time, so we wanted to make sure that quality doesn?t suffer from the pressure of a huge volume of content to work through.
We did miss our target open date though for which I apologize. We are building a new and far more complete website for our business that will allow our clients to place orders directly to our writers and receive articles individually immediately as they?re completed. We?ll begin beta testing in 3 weeks and we expect that will answer many of the requests that we?ve received over the years, including speeding up the process and significantly opening up our capacity to keep taking orders during peak times.

Unfortunately it was absolutely necessary to close the site down these past few days. I don't see this happening again till the end of the year when Christmas rolls around
