I've recently noticed that all my edublogs blogs are now deindexed from google.
In fact, who manages edublogs.org decided to automatically set all the blogs to noindex.
It's a shame because they used to rank well.
Is there a way to set them back to doindex?

no. there's not unfortunately.

edit: maybe unless you pay now?

That's a shame.

I looked around quickly on the website but couldn't see "premium plan" or anything like that with index capability.

I would stay away from Edublogs.
Plus, they terminate accounts way too easy.
Not to mention that now the backlink is not even indexed.

In the admin dashboard is still visible the privacy setting to change the visibility to index/noindex (Options -> reading -> Privacy) but now you can't edit that setting.
There are still some edublogs blogs indexed by google, though. https://www.google.com/search?q=site:edublogs.org
So there must be a way. Maybe they just want some money.

The only safe bets are your owned sites. You own the domain, the hosting and you decide what to do with it. All the time you invest into 3rd party properties can be lost overnight.

Edu blogs always sucks for me. May be they are taking action to stop spam.
