Use a VPS as remote desktop and hosting?

I'm currently using a vps to run scrapebox sometimes and other little tools, but not too much, I also have an access to Cpanel, Do you thinks it's a good idea to install a website on the VPS? It have a good setup as I pay 80$/month for it=

yeah I agree it's oblivious, but to re-formulate I want to know if it's safe to build a website on the same place, will it not be slow when I run my tools? It's to know if some of you are doing that

You can do this on your PC too. It depends by many factors like site's size, internet connection/speed/IP, how you use screpebox, how many people use the same IP...
So how many people will use the same IP is the must. You will point the domain to this IP and even you do it trough DNS.
Ask your VPS provider!

Because the hardware, software, the internet connection and the electricity cost money. The competition and sometime they must split somethings between few users to reduce the final price (the internet connection is split for sure). I think you can still run it OK with proxy.

BTW - I'm still learning these things and will be happy see the point of someone whit more experience!
Please, update the thread with the answer from the VPS support!

If the hosting and the vps have the same IP I will not do it, scraping and using other seo tools may put your IP in the blacklist like stopforumspam also in google blacklist for scrapping

Ok I was planning to run a large site on this vps, but I will just use it to host a pbn blog maybe, like tmv77 said the ip may be blacklisted in the future, and it has more chance to be blacklisted as naskoobg pointed (if the ip is shared with other people),

Most VPS allows web hosting as well.

Scraping will get the VPS IP blacklisted and you don't want to host your money site on a blacklisted IP address.
