Hello everyone,
As simply as I can state it, I have created more than one channel in order to upload the same identical video to each one of them without repercussions (hope YT allows this), and without having to go through the trouble of creating a new one. Now, I would like to be able to create a clickable link from each one of these videos to my web site(s).
From what I understand, in order to create an external link from one of my videos leading to my own site, I have to verify the account with an authentic phone number (it can only be used twice per year), and I have to log in to Google Webmaster tools and get a snippet of code to insert into my site's HTML in order to prove it belongs to me, then I have to enable YT monetization, etc.
What I don't understand is, do I have to go through this verification process for each and every one of the channels that I create? Or, being that, as I assume, each channel is a subset of the main account, I would only have to do this once for the account itself, and that would cover me for any extra channels that I create under it.
If anyone who has done something similar to this could tell me whether I'm on the right path, I would be ever so grateful. Or, am I mistaken, and will it turn out that I do have to verify each and every individual channel created, making this unfeasible as I do not see how to get a hold of tens or hundreds of different phone numbers to throw at YouTube (depending on the number of new channels I create, of course).
Thanks a bunch for any insight.
