Im always looking forward to you updates..It would be interesting if you could post some stats for every site,like how many visitors and keyword positions..

Im especially looking fwd to see how the silo website will perform.I also have one i did a year ago , and although im not sure if i made all the siloing correctly and my on page sucks for sure, i still get around 200 visits per day..And the beauty is i have done so little seo on it..Like 50 links on forums,Q&A sites and few pbn links...

I had high hopes for that PR you did but i dont think youre too satisfied with overall performance...Did any bigger , authoritative site picked up your PR ??

Stats on sites? I guess I should start doing that. It will be a lot more fun though once I start getting some decent numbers. It's too early. The main authority (site 1) gets 50 or less organic uniques a day. It's just over a month old. The pet site (site 2) gets just a few a day. It's a week or 2 old. The silo (site 3) gets just a few a day. It's maybe a week old? The numbers are just too low/boring for now. On the kw positions, you'll laugh but I'm really not sure. I need to suck it up and get serp buddy I guess?? I have a couple of free trackers but they only let me track a few kw's. I need to be tracking hundreds.

Silo? Me too!!!!! I am really having a blast with it. I just finished an article on silo 4. It ended up being 2.8k words with 10 pics and a video. I edited the crap out of each pic. The only offsite I've done so far is a few social links. I think I have finished oughly 35 pages? What's weird though is that G will show 10 articles indexed, then 5, then 15, then none. Freaking weird. I guess it's just too young?

You have a silo from a year ago? 200 visits a day? I bet it's ripe to start doing some real offsite on??

On the PR- I guess I kind of screwed up. I think a shit ton of sites carried it. That was the main intent: to get a lot of links to skip the fresh domain penalty. But inside I was hoping for a bunch of traffic and sharing. It just didn't get much. I now know that if I want real interaction I have to do a much better job. My next one will go viral, even if I have to hire a team to help me. I know that this first PR was just too bland to get anything more than links. The biggest sites that ran it are Yahoo News, Yahoo Financial, and a bunch of local news sites like ABC affiliates. At least that's what I see.

Based on my thread? lol Lord we're both in trouble then!! I can tell you one thing for sure- you need a shit ton of patience. Writing 100, 200 + articles and pouring your soul in it is tough, especially when you don't get much of anything in return for a long time. It's just really easy to become discouraged! I hope you stick to it, and that you make a million bucks.

Day # 43 - 45 Update

Site 1 (main authority): I'm extremely agitated. I spent some good money on a service for it. So far I have not seen any results due to errors. I am told that it's being fixed, but it's been two weeks since and I'm getting annoyed. I'll wait another week to comment on that. As far as the site goes, I'm not touching it until this gets figured out. There's also a lot of crap I need to fix on it. I like the theme and think it looks pretty cool, but it's slow as shit. If I can't figure that out I may end up putting it on a bare/fast theme. I was thinking that a chunk of the slowness was due to my crap pc, but it's more than that. This x theme with magazine style images is just slow as hell. I am pausing on this site for one week.

Site 2 (pet niche with son writing content): Haven't looked at it in a few days. Son says he is adding a bunch over the next few days.

Site 3 (silo): I have completed 5 articles on four silo landing pages. I'm working on the 5th. The plan is to have 5 articles on 6 of the 12 landing pages by this weekend. That will put me half way to finishing the first part. After that I can just add articles to each silo as needed.


I'm honestly frustrated right now. Until I feel better, or something positive happens, I will probably cut back to one update a week.

Day #46 Update

I wasn't planning on updating for a while, but a few things have happened that I need to make a note of.

Site 1 (Main Authority)- Son of a bitch!!! This site has been getting slower and slower and ..... It's been freaking me out. Just to post a new page has been taking 4 minutes or so because it's so fing slow. For a while I thought it was just my shitty pc. A week ago or so I realized it was more than my pc. The site became so slow that there's no way any visitors would wait for it to load. So today I said f it and removed Theme X and replaced it with the dump WP 2012. Guess what? Now the page loads in just a couple of seconds on my shitty pc, instead of the minute or more it was taking before. I think X sucks so bad that when you get around 150 pages on it the thing just bogs down. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but just removing X fixed my problem. Now I'm wanting to play with it again. I need to fix a bunch of crap on it now that it looks ugly, but its relatively fast!

Site 2 (Pet Niche)- My son gave me a bunch of articles to help him tweak this weekend. We will go through them and play around with it a bit. This will be my first time to really do anything with the articles he's making. I'm happy that he wants my advice.

Site 3 (Silo)- I finished making 5 articles on 5 of the silos. 7 silos to go and I can start sprinkling articles here and there. I said my goal was to finish 5 articles for 6 of the silos by this weekend. I'll make that tomorrow. I also ordered 20 blog comments for it from a sales thread here. It's not much, but just a little bit to get things started. I went with 100% naked/generic anchors. The service only cost $7 for 25 pretty nice blog comment backlinks. Pretty good deal to me. I also set up 2 weebly blogs for it. No links from them yet. I want to make a lot more of these parasites. Can anyone suggest some sites to work with? I would really appreciate it.


P.S. I forgot to mention that I got a week demo of long tail pro to play with. I still need to really learn it. I'm having fun with it so far.

Day # 47 48 49 Update

Help!!!??? With my little brain, and the help of a new friend here, I know that I really need to focus on a little PBN for my 3 sites. In short, I want to create 20 parasites for each site of mine. So I need to create a total of 60 parasites. I have 3 right now. I am good with Weebly, Wordpress and Blogger. A friend recommended a couple more. My questions:

1- What other sites should I use?

2- When I create a "blog" on say Weebly, is that the only one that I should create on that account? In other words, if I wanted to create 20 Weebly blogs, do I need to register 20 separate Weebly accounts? Please say no because I'm lazy!

3- On each parasite, I'm initially creating about 5 pages. They are a mix of original content and spun garbage. They have a few pics and videos. I will add a page here or there over time. Each one will include a total of 1-3 links to my site, and a mix of links to other big boy sites. Does that sound about right?

4- Is there anyone that will just sell me a bunch of accounts that are already registered so that I don't have to go through that crap of registering 60 different times?

Site 1- I still need to work on fixing the theme to look good. I'm still pretty upset about the service I bought.

Site 2- Looking good. Son plugging along. I will sprinkle a few links to it soon.

Site 3- In love with this one. Finished 5 articles to 6 of the landing pages. Hope to have 5 on the other six within 2 weeks.

If you are on blogger then no more then one blog per account. On weebly you can create more then 1.

Day # 50 & 51 Update

So I've been on a journey trying to figure out how to create my own parasite network. It's been fun!

After trying to use the Link Pushing service, and doing a lot of reading, I learned a few things:

1- Limit the links pointing to my money site (tier 1) to a fairly small number.

2- Extremely wide anchor diversity. Using tons of generics and naked url's.


So I've started to create a handful of manual tier 1's to my sites. The next step is trying to automate the tier 2, 3, etc.

That led me to a winner- Money Robot. This program is sick!!! It is exactly what I have been wanting. I'm on a 7 day free trial version now, but I may just upgrade and pay tomorrow. I can spam the shit out of my tier 1's by creating other tiers everywhere.

My focus for the rest of this week is to really set up a good number of quality tier 1's.

Day # 52 & 53 Update

I am exhausted. For my offline business, this was the busiest and most profitable week of my life. From Monday-Friday I think I worked around 80 hours this week just on my business. I will work another 8 hours today, and probably 12 tomorrow. That will make this around a 100 hour work week. I am drained!

I was only able to do a little bit of online work. I made 5 parasite blog on weebly, wordpress and blogger. I also bought some made accounts on fiverr. I also just finished my first account on Money Robot that is pointing to a manual tier 1 for my pet niche money site. I just started a second campaign on MR for a tier 1 to my silo site.

I really won't be doing much else online this weekend. I'm hoping to have more time to devote to this adventure next week.

It probably doesn't look like it from reading this journey, but I have learned so much in the last 7 weeks or so. It's pretty amazing.

Day #54 Update

Got my vps and private proxies set up to run Money Robot way faster. Very exciting!!

Worked on a few more parasites for tier 1's.

Got a few more articles up. Need to get back on track this coming week.

Bought a $100 bing coupon for $9 last night. Ran a CB campaign and blew through the $100 coupon fast. Got 3 sales out of it (with an upsale) for a total return of $130 or so. Pretty damn cool return!! I got lucky I think because I suck at ppc. I just wing it. I used to spend $2k a month on Adwords for my business, but I honestly had no idea what I was doing. So I just found a CB product that seemed to be well made, used some common sense for kw's and writing the ad, and just threw it out there to see what would happen. I would love to throw another $1k at it to see.

My problem is that I've used 2 coupons on my bing account. I need to learn how to use a lot more, or how to create new bing accounts without having to add cc to each one. Help please?????? Will pay for good info that works.

Day #56 Update

I'm up almost $500 now in 2 days doing ppc.

I hit a few CB winners, and I "think" I have this Bing coupon thing figured out pretty well. It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but it makes it really easy to turn a profit. I suck so bad at ppc, but with deep discounts (coupons), a dummy could profit.

I probably won't be updating this for a good while. I'm putting most of this journey on hold while I focus on scaling the ppc. My son will continue to add to site 2. My writer will keep making some articles for site 1, but I won't be adding them to the site until I have time (between my offline business and my ppc crush). Site 3 is just going to have to age for a bit.

The few of you that follow me have been in touch via pm. If anyone else would like to chat on pm, I'm always up for good conversation (which this journey has been anything but, for the most part).

I'll post here again when I continue focusing on the authorities, but for now I have visions of advertising budgets.
