Quick Update.
I'll post another update in a week or if we get the cost per install way down sooner. But so far so good. I can vouch Abradabra's service.

How did the service work out for you? What is the overall CPI? Thanks!

Overall cost is not the correct parameter to judge performance of a PPC Campaign as it involves lot of testing. Here is an excerpt from the FAQs

7. How to judge the performance of a campaign?
The campaign performance is judged by the highest performing ad set. Other ad sets as well as the overall cost of the campaign is not counted & is not a fair way to judge the performance. This is because, lot of ads sets are created for testing purposes. As a result, even the bad ones add to the overall cost.

His niche is one of the most difficult niche as the users being targeted are not always in the mood for what his app is about. Consider this, for the same niche, affiliates are being paid 3-10$ per install. His cheapest Ad set is at 0.38$ and campaigns are being setup every other day to get all the ad sets to the daily budget set for the campaign.

Quick update. Abradabra continues to work on the project, though results are slow. Over the last three days we've received 35 downloads at $.78 per install. Based on the advertising of this thread quoting installs as low as $0.03, we are still a LONG was off. Will continue to work with Abradabra for a few more weeks. I need the installs to the tune of hundreds a day at a CPI of $0.20. Communication has been good, but the results need to be a lot better. Right now I'd rate the service a 6/10.

Just have a query regarding apps that have offer links i.e. I have an affiliate tracking link to an IOS app. I saw an older post suggesting this was possible but was wanting to check whether it still works?

Your current CPI is now less than 0.3$, closer to 0.2$.

It still works, however there are certain things you need to know.

1) Affiliate links are run as 'Clicks To Website Ads' & NOT "App Install Ads"

2) Due to Pt.1, you cannot track installs on Facebook.

3) The ads are optimised for clicks & NOT installs. As a result the cost estimation & guarantee is limited to clicks.

4) There is always a risk to "DIRECT LINKING" affiliate links on Facebook. A landing page is 100% safe. A cloaker works but not 100% safe.

5) Your Facebook account can get banned anytime.

6) Your affiliate link can get blocked by Facebook anytime.

Update on the service. Overall right now I give it a C-. Since January 1 (purchased on Dec. 31st and posted in this thread then), a total of $365.21 has been spend on FB ads with a total downloads of 385. That works out to about $0.95 per install. When you factor in the $150 fee for abradabra, the true cost per install so far is roughly $1.34. A far cry from pennies per install.

I'll continue to work with abradabra, and if he is able to successfully get the post per install down, I will report back here.

Hi,

Here are your top ad sets.

cVE7ckv

As mentioned in the thread multiple times, every app has a unique CPI. So not all apps can get 3 cent installs.

Also since we are still testing and optimising, I am not done. There is a great decrease in the CPI and it will continue to go down. Don't worry, what you will get with me will be the cheapest guaranteed. If you can find another source for real, targeted & non-incent installs, I will refund the entire fees.

Also since, the OP is not getting updated go here for the FAQs

Hey abradabra,

Please don't take any of my posts in a negative light. I just like to post and update so others can see a typical process. As I said I am going to continue working with you to get the CPI lower.

Thanks, and please don't take what I said as harsh criticism.

If it?s clicks to website then would it be limited to the right column ads only? Or does it include mobile news feed?

Hello abradabra

I'm interested in your service but I have a few questions since I'm new to mobile marketing.

I understand that your service sells mobile app installs for a low price, but what's the best way to actually PROFIT from these installs.

Say I have a free app (like a free game for example) that I want people to download. Would I need to use an advertising network, like Admob, to profit from these installs?

If not Admob, what other network or way would you recommend to actually make a good profit from all those installs.

Like I said, I'm new to this, so your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry if I came across that way. I was just putting up my points.

It will include only Mobile News Feed ads. If you want Right Column or Desktop News Feed Ads, it can be done as well

Review :

I got the project for generating app installs for client. I made double the profit I invested in him. Looks Legit :)) . i am on APP BIZ now . 100%

Final Review

These guys have TOTALLY bombed on there end. At first it started out good. First installs where on the 5th of January. He said it would take some time to get the cost down low, so I thought ok, sounds fair. Well, from the 5th to right now, this is what I have been created with:

fbchart.png

The real kicker comes when I see what happened yesterday on my account:

fbchart2.png

That's NINE installs for almost $223 bucks. Stay away from this guy. He is full of it. If he has any decency he will refund the $150 fee at the minimum seeing has how he absolutely blew up a budget I set. I'll let you guys know if he does anything to fix the situation. But until there is a hell of a explanation and some form of compensation, I would keep your money safe and not spend it here.

Rating 0/10

Thank you for the review. I am sorry it turned out that way. This is probably the FIRST TIME it has happened like this. And yes, I have refunded you the amount.

We never discussed a cost estimation as the order was made directly. The reason I put up that lot of ad sets is because, you constantly wanted pennies for installs. Which I said was difficult. We never discussed a cost estimation as the order was made directly. That was a mistake on our part as we missed giving out an estimation. As a result I have to do a lot of testing, and testing involves investment.

Again sorry about it. Me and my team put our hearts into every campaign that we put out. It was a sincere effort from our end. Sometimes, things don't turn out the way we visioned it to be. And from all of us here, we apologise. Hope we do business again.

I came across a mobile application called CashPirate, it has an outstanding referral program and it is free. My code is LKPWNJ if you want to check it out and get 500 bonus points by using my code.

OP please come on skype I want to talk more with you about 2 of my campaigns.

Hi OP,

Does the cost you stated only apply for free apps/game? How about paid one?
Paid apps would have a higher CPI than free ones. I have successfully done campaigns where the install rate was less than actual cost of the app.

Paid app campaigns should be looked as a means to generating more organic downloads. For example, you spend 2$/install for a 1$ app. You get 5 organic installs, so you made a profit of $3.

Another question: you said that you would create around 6 ads for each campaign to achieve the desired installs. This could be scale up as I understand. Then why there's a limit on daily install (500-1k as you said)?

Thanks,

The limit is dependant on the inventory Facebook can provide. After a certain point, even if you wish to pay more per install or want to increase the budget, the effect on the quantity of installs will be less and the price per install can also increase. This is because FB will try to run through the budget at a faster rate. And that does not necessarily translate into more installs. And from my experience providing this service, it has moved much beyond 1K downloads daily but still it's not unlimited.
