Hi friends,

I don't have any credibility here, but rest assured that I'm willing to go above and beyond to make my case.

I'm a developer located in the US - I've worked with some huge companies (Google, Amazon) and some smaller ones that you've never heard of. I'm an entrepreneur though, so I prefer to be my own boss.

My problem is, though, is that I'm not a popularizer, and I don't know much about SEO.

I recently started an agency - we're an S Corp in the state of Minnesota. We have done about $200k over the last 3 months (since our inception), all by word of mouth.

I don't think $200k is cool. Or $2Mil. I want $20Mil.

If someone can help me get to the top of Google with my keywords, I'll code you whatever you need - APIs, scrapers, CMS, payment systems... You name it. I'm looking for a long-term relationship with this individual, so my clients, too, can enjoy the benefits.

I'm also willing to give equity in my company for this service.

Let's talk. PM for Skype. Mods, if you need some sort of proof, I'm standing-by.

Cheers,

Worked with Amazon and Google and yet come to a Blackhat forum with no posting history for your million-dollar S-corp claiming you "don't know much about SEO"? Right.

How much are you paying?

I think you misread! I said I have an agency that's registered, and from word-of-mouth we've done about $200k.

My past includes some notable blackhat work, and I've always been fascinated with the underground. By no means am I well-off (medical bills for family undid that) - but, again, I am a developer, not an SEO expert.

SEO is always changing,. As a developer from Google you should know big G change their selection algorithms frequently. Best place to start learning SEO would be Google.

What languages do you code in? Can you build in CSS and HTML5 along with the databases and servers behind it? Marketing is most important now across all platforms. Not just Google Also, are you located in Minneapolis?

Code me an artificial intelligence, that can think of a ways how to make money and also do the hard work.

I'm a rubyist but I tango in Go and Python. I mainly focus on back-end and put most of my effort into it, while front-ends usually end up with bootstrap and some jquery plugins.

I split time between Minneapolis and San Francisco. Looks like you found me way back in the day!

I didn't misread. $200k in 3 months for a start up just from word of mouth is $800k in revenue, I don't think it was a huge stretch to assume that would balloon to over $1M (or $1Milz #YOLOswag) considering you are doing no outside advertising.

You're clearly young so just delete this account, consider it a lesson learned and come in with a more humble attempt to hire help from a 3rd party.

If you want a bit of instant credibility at least pay for your membership here and help support the site if you dont want to purchase direct ads.

I had been under the idea that you took the larger numbers I wrote in my post and assumed that's what I was doing.

I am young, but I'm not <that> young. Considering what I'm offering (or am willing to offer), asking for someone's knowledge on SEO isn't out of the question. All because you're a physician's assistant doesn't mean you're a pharmacologist.

What are you looking to hire and what are you paying? Both important bullet points for a thread here.
