How many Backlinks should you build per day??

I just wanted to know if you build a lot of backlinks to your site in one day.. is it considered spamming??? or does google punish you for this??

I heard some ppl saying Yes and Some saying NO

What is it?

It depend on what type of backlink. I mean, if you are linking from the do-follow high PR page + High traffic Site (PR4+) just do it less than 10 pages. Id been sandboxed by doing that. I place on like 8 links on PR6 pages and the next day, my serps going down.

But, if you place on no PR page/site, it is ok to put 100 links a day..The googleBot doesnt crawl often to that page/site.. so, your link will not being discovered by GoogleBot instantly..

The confusion is, someone builds XX a day and gets penalized then says it's too much yet someone builds X,XXX and is fine.

Number of links is about the least important variable when it comes to link building, so forget about a universal magic number it doesn't exist.

Ya the number does not exist , but again i guess if you are using different anchor texts and doing a mix and match then it will work out fine

In general if your content is white hat there is really no problem to get 10k links during 1 day or 100k as it would be easy for your competition to take you out of business if it would get you banned or anything negative.

But one thing that I see as a good result is consistency. so if you build 1000 links today, you better think how you can continue to build 1000 links / day or you can get sandboxed for a while, or you can get temporary bad ranking, but it will always stabilize after a while.

That is what I look at, if the project is important enough for me so it is worth keeping it high ranked, I value how much time I want to put on the project each day and go from there, if I can build 1000 links during 1 hour of work with help of some bot then I go for 1000 links / day. but if I am only willing to put the initial time and then forget about the page I usually build anything from 100-1000 links once and forget about it simply.

Yes, in the end i guess its the way you do it.. if its naturally white had then its all ok... sometimes people get smacked in this method as well.. but then you have to atleast try

it is not only the PR factor here.. The traffic of the site also plays important role here.. More traffic to the website, more often the BOT crawl your page, faster your link get discovered..

I have 1 PR3 sites that has 2K visitors a day and 1 PR6 site with just 10 visitors perday.. The BOT crawls often on the PR3 site rather than PR6. when i posted new post on the PR3 site, it gets indexed within 10-20 minutes only and compare to PR6 site, it takes like about 3 to 4 days to get new post get indexed..

So, it depends on how often the BOT crawls the page perday for that particular site. the more the bot crawl, the faster your link get discovered..

As I said earlier, you can posted to 1K links per day but depend on the traffic of the site and also PR..

There is no magic number for the number of backlinks to grab for your site per day. It varies greatly, and everyone has different result s and experiences which is why there is so much confusion.

If it is a long-term site that you are wanting to get ranked, you should definitely space out your backlink campaign and make sure to use different anchor texts, and deep link.

If you are just going for a quick hit for some fast cash, then you can slam a lot of backlinks into it quite fast(again, no magic number) and get away with it for a while.

Also, varying your anchor texts, using proxies and different accounts will also help you keep your ranking longer.

u can put backlinks thru ******** blogs... go and search google for same... find blogs and forum that are ******** and then make RELEVANT posts on them...

too many backlinks too fast can get you devalued if the sites are not high credibility (ie viral explosion). the same rule goes for too much new content too fast. the best practice (as mentioned by another user) is consistency - find a rate of new backlinks that you can maintain.
