The things in Mexico are somehow going out of control for the government we have right now.
It hurts because we have plenty of cultural beauty, tourism and dreamy places. But corruption is more powerful, personal interests. Individualism.
Somehow, Mexico is waking up. I believe very firmly that is thanks to the internet. Ive always thought about that. See? Egyptian revolution?

Ive been working hard on coding lately so Ive missed contact with friendships I know by physically being there. But this forum has gave me so much in a way I cannot express.
I might not know many of you, but I know I will, time is the only way. Im working hard on my projects. But simply this goes further that it doesnt let you concentrate.

What do you think about this? I really look forward for sincere words and a deep discussion.

I'll keep this short since, as WizGizmo stated, this thread has the potential to become a political altercation, although I will say this:

The Internet has helped us all realise that we're more alike than we once believed. It has not only made formerly despondent people realise that they're being taken advantage of or manipulated, but that their lives could be much better than they currently are if they simply take action rather than lie down and capitulate to oppressive people.

I appreciate your concern about this. And I must say its very understandable.
Its not a political discussion. I must have explained myself more.
Im currently running a NGO for increasing the education here and in Latin America.
It is necessary that we spread the words that you just need a computer to make a living noawadays, if you learn the stuff you would like to offer. You can get good idea of what people need on Odesk, Elance, Etc. Into different categories. You choose what to learn and go find it. Plenty of places.
Personally, Khan Academy is great, Tutsplus, Teamtreehouse, Codecademy between many others. Im right now working hard on develop this first tool to give it market.
I will donate half of my income to the purpose of increasing education. This NGO is going well on fans on FB, Stumbleupon, Tumblr, Twitter and so on. All organically and we share lots of knowledge from all around the digital and real world.

Nothing politically involved.
Politics is a ver overrated word. Its getting obsolete thanks to the networks(TCP/IP).

Its pretty interesting topic. Same as on Singularity.

I only fly into Mexico, I never driver across into the border. A friend of my had his car iinspeted at the border for 2 days. They completely tore down the car. He had to pay someone to rebuilt the car. The only thing Mexican border patrol said was that they got a report from someone matching his car that is known to be a drug runner across the border.

That so bad, sorry you had a bad impression. But this country is beautiful. I am also an American Citizen, I was born there. But I love my Mexico.

How is it confusing, its been known for decades that there was high levels of corruption in Mexico and the bribery culture dates back to when Spain first colonized the area. The only thing one can do is promote is a culture of good corruption over bad corruption since Anti-Corruption activities by a government can lead to economic slowdown.

There might be some bribery that has been helping tourism, the media is reporting less and less about the drug war, and tourism is increasing over the past few years since that policy was adotped.
