This is a 100% honest review of my experiences.
I hired the OP for the job after seeing positive reviews for his service. I thought I would get the same type of quality services and logos.
So, the job was for 1 logo. I clearly stated my likes/dislikes and expressed what I wanted in a logo.
First concepts, he sent 5 different types over. To be bluntly honest, I thought all the logos were very amateur. I picked out my favorite out of the 5, and asked for a few more concepts based off of that design. Again, I clearly stated what I liked/hated about each design, colors, and other features.
Few days later, I get another 5 concepts, again all very amateur. What ticked me off the most was he did not read ANY of my notes regarding the first 5 concepts. For example, I clearly stated multiple times to use the color schemes RED and BLUE. Instead I get concepts that are completely ORANGE and RED. So basically I had another 5 concepts that had the exact same mistakes as the first. The colors were off, designs were off, and it's safe to say that none of my notes were read.
After all this, I still do not have a usable logo for my site. I can't use any of these on my professional website.
I didn't receive the final files nor do I have use for them. I had requested a refund of 1/2 my money, which he promptly denied.
I don't really care for the money, but the support and quality just wasn't there. I will do more research to find a competent designer in the future.
