Facebook ads & CB Product & Email List

I can finally advertise through facebook. My ads need definitely a bit of finetuning, but I got already 7 ad clicks and all clicked on the button on my page. Atleast I hope the tracker is right.
When you clicked on the button before, you got instantly to the CB produt page. Since it didn't really work: over 40 hops and no sale - I added an email popup.
If they put in their data, they could watch the full video.

But nobody subscribed..

Do you think thats too much? How do you bring people to subscribe to your email list?

Try creating a free ebook or something that they can get if they subscribe. I know I've seen it work for others.
 
Good idea - I think thats definitely the way to go when you want to creat an email list.

But how should I do this when my landingpage has only a bit of text and the products video in it. My goal is to promote the product while getting their email.

Perhaps cut the video in half and make them enter their email to see the rest. I'm not really sure mate. If you want, pm the url and I could possibly come up some different ways.
 
Well to promote the video was useless. I wondered why I had just about 10-20% videos views - of those who visited the site. Seems like most of them used a smartphone. And had prob no wifi.

I deleted the video now, added text and a picture and focus purely on ctr to the product. :)
 
Offering a freebie on your lander (through an opt in) is the way to go when using facebook ads to promote a CB product.

I wouldn't have a video on the opt in though. Just have a catchy title, an ecover of the free report, (optional - some bullet points about benefits or a subtitle), and the opt in form. Keep it simple and concise.

Are you using mostly mobile newsfeed ads?

So just offer the freebie and get the email opt-in, don't push the CB product right then but mail it at a later date with an auto-responder. I think I get it now.

I've been so focused on getting the sale from the ads, that after the opt-in I was directing them to the CB product sales page. That hasn't yielded the desired results.
 
Two ways that work for me:

Ad--->Opt in page---> CB product
Ad--->Opt in page--->my landing page with video testimonials---->CB Product

Other ways you can split test:
Ad--->Opt in----> Free report---->then they are sent the product in a soft sell in your autoresponder series
Ad--->to my landing page with video testimonial. from here they have to opt in to "download or watch the product"---->CB product

I dont offer Free reports for a few reasons:
1. I hate writing them and anything you can buy online for cheap is bullshit
2. My list then expects free stuff from all the time
The good thing about free reports though is within them you can put your affiliate links while talking about the product or system

If you want to give away something for free and have it have value forego the free report and offer a free webinar pertaining to your niche (if this applicable to you...it may not be)

If I give away a freebie, what should my facebook page be like? Since right now its just "product" + bla bla + guide.
Maybe I should be more personal?

I'm sure spamming a forum full of people who are experts at spamming themselves is going to work wonders buddy.

My guess is you'll be banned quicker than the time it took you to create those accounts.
