Hey guys, nothing fancy here, just my awesome little thread devoted to building an authority site in Google in the by 6/6/2015.
Some goals:
- $100-$200 a day by 6/6/2015 from Adsense and affiliate commission
- 500-1,000 hits per day primarily from SEO and social
-Significant facebook following - 1k-5k genuine facebook likes
- 500 unique pieces of content 500-1000 words long
About me
-I do SEO and marketing for a living at a professional firm
-Former WAFO noob.
-Experienced affiliate, not earning anything recently.
-Looking for extra cash on the side to launch more authority sites
My strategy
So I was looking at some samples from authority site builders and I wasn't impressed. I thought, that content is garbage! I can do better myself. My tactic revolves around the following ingredients:
-1,000 word plus articles for long tail keywords
-Link building from BHW, primarily clean tier 1 links and content links, diverse anchor text, no visible spam
-Premium theme with good social sharing features to boost engagement and get more serp juice
Monetization
I like worry about traffic first, but monetization would revolve around:
-AWeber blasts and leadpages opt ins for offers
-Adsense (duh)
-Peerfly
The bottom line with this follow along is it's all about quality! No generic 500 word articles stuffed with one silly keyword. 1k plus on all articles, and bang out 25-50 of them per month or more. Get the content flowing like crazy, build up the Facebook following, get the links from BHW and dominate the SERPs. That's my goal to add to my 2015 income this year and beyond.
First steps:
-Keyword research: get keywords on my first 25 articles asap and get them ordered.
-Order premium theme and domain (I want my own brand, no expired domains. No shit this takes longer idgaf)
-Already have SSD hosting. Speed=rankings my friend!
Will have an update within a week. Stay tuned people.
