Great Method...
I started around August last year 2014 and was doing pretty well. I started to see my sales climbing from 1-2 sales per day to 5-8 sales per day, then I went back to work full time around October and had a hard time keeping up. After that it was around November / December when my seller performance dropped due to the high "return" rate. It was the holidays and people wanted free items so...lots of cases opened. This discouraged me and I canceled my ebay store and was on the verge of quitting.
After reading this post it kind of gave me confidence to not give up and try to pick my sales back up...I went to renew my ebay store and it won't allow me renew my store since my seller performance is "below standard" it carried over from december...
I still have 149 listings and my last sales was on 1/7/2014 but as of now...I can't add any new listings. I have a program (paid monthly) to help me with amazons price changes. How are you handling that manually?

Very good method! Nothing new here, but well detailed and well explained ! I had some experience on ebay, my problem is the 21 day funds holding since I don't have a trused account yet.. Anyone knows how much does it cost to buy an ebay acc with no limits? Also I'm from Europe, do you think it could work here? Should I aim to only Europe or US ? Won't it be suspicious for amazon that I buy items from EU and ship to US ?

No sorry I don't do anything different than you. The only thing that I do differently which is the only thing is I have the items shipped to my house so I can switch the box and have them shipped out to the ebay seller. That is why I go for the bigger ticket items that sell for more so I can make more profit and get back my shipping costs. But as for doing it differently no I do the same as you do this method has been around for years.
I used to go to a lot of outlet stores and buy brand name designer shoes and handbags at half off some of them up to 80% off the original tag and then I would sell them. Sometimes I still do. But that is just me. As for Amazon ever since I started shipping the items to myself first and swapping out the boxes no one complained anymore. I also like some of the other people stated have trouble with sales I have to keep relisting some of my items over and over again since I can't seem to sell some of them.

Great guide, it sounds pretty simple, but the only problem I have is that my eBay account is banned. Do you happen to know any other website that I can sell?

You can always open a stealth PayPal account and just create a new eBay account. You'll have to work up to having your selling limits expanded, but if you're a good seller and maintain positive feedback, it won't take long to be able to list a good amount of items.

Start by copying some titles you see on Amazon, when you find someone with the same title as the Amazon item on their eBay item, you know they do the same method. Make your listings better than them and slightly cheaper if you like the profit margin.

I really don't know. I asked once here on BHW and was told it was a bad idea... So it's up to you really to take that risk or not.

Do you also buy from your own amazon affiliate links? Wouldn't this be ideal?

This thread inspired to go ahead and try to list my first item itended for drop shipping. Up until now I've always done auction style stuff selling antiques and collectables.
I still am barely putting my toes in the water though. I only listed one item just to see how it goes. In fact, it's the first item I've ever had to pay an insertion fee for.
What do you recommend for newbies just getting started? $0.30 fee for every item listed could get expensive. Especially when you're listing hundreds of items.. as with anything I imagine this takes a lot of trial and error, and slowly filtering out the stuff that doesn't sell and keep listing what does... but this could also get quite expensive for a newbie.
I realize even one successful sell, even at $4 profit, would take care of 12+ listing fees. I guess my greatest fear is trying to scale this up and having it go horribly wrong. But just like anything in IM, I realize there is still risk involved.
Anyway, I listed my first item. I payed my insertion fee, if it sells, I get around $4.80 in profit. It's going to sit for 30 days. And this may be the deciding factor of if I really want to persue this or not.

You will get both of your Amazon account banned for life and Amazon is very very strict on this. It is against Amazon TOS to buy through your own Amazon affiliate link. If you don't believe me then try and find out yourself.

Not every category has an insertion fee, only the most popular ones. Try to find something different, those will not have insertion fee. Cheers
