I have been selling for more than an year now on BHW. Sometimes, buyers don't understand the service or sometimes there is slip up from my end. The buyer's demands a refund, even if the results were achieved and the terms of service agreed upon. I get threatened to refund them otherwise they will post a negative review or ruin my reputation or in somebody's word "fuck me up and make sure I don't get business with BHW or Paypal again"

What would BHW do for us in these cases? Once I had messaged I-KNOW-SEO for removing a negative review which was posted on purpose, I even had the screenshots of the conversations with me to prove it. It was a simple NO from his end.

1 negative review>10 positive reviews.

How can BHW help sellers like us? Or we would have to refund everybody that tries to threaten us?

Sell good services, provide good customer service, keep logs of each customer. That is your protection in the off chance something happens.

Make it clear in your sales page of what's included and what isn't. Don't expect anyone to actually read the ToS.

I can see one recent negative review on your sales thread. The guy left a fair and reasonable assessment of the service he received from you. In no way whatsoever was it a hack job just fair comment from a customer who had spent $150 and didnt feel he got great value.

The fact that you are trying to get something like that removed makes you look suspicious. The isnt the wafo thank God.

I have made everything clear on my thread. Customers are duly explained what they are getting before the order is made. He ordered after a week of chatting. So he clearly knew what he was getting into. He threatened me that if I don't refund he will "fuck me up" . I did everything mentioned in my service. I even went ahead and did extra stuff for him. Even after getting the said results & after the service period was over. He almost extorted money off me. Do you want me to post screenshots and only then will you believe me? I have nothing to hide. My service is as is. And don't talk about WaFo, they are removing genuine testimonials as well, believing everything is paid for there.

These are anyways one-off cases. If we could discuss the real matter at hand, that will be helpful. Consider this, I was not wrong, the customer was wrong, what will you advise then?

I think no real man will claim refund after getting good service.
Keep the clients logs every time.

There is OldSalt for Protecting Both Buyer & Seller. Just Prove your self you are legit.

I like to follow the Shit List threads and I'm always impressed with the consistency of the method applied. Both are given a chance to speak, both are given a chance to prove their side and then a judgement is made.

I've seen reputable members get the benefit of the doubt there : in one case I won't remember who exactly it was, but the seller was given like 30 days or so to sort things out. Also I've seen cases where the scam was blatant and they got the hammer instantly.

Sellers don't get much more protection than that anywhere else on the WWW....One famous payment processor for instance will screw sellers of services for no reason, all the buyer has to do is request a refund and claim "whatever"....so much so if you sell websites or intangible goods, you better use escrow...and pay for escrow....

Just my 2 cents on that.
