Hi Guys,

I am helping my client getting on top for affiliate keywords in fitness niche. His site is like stuck on 15. position, even that I got his site higher trust flow and good links. The thing I see is the correlation between ranks and his site design. Sites on top have wordpress as my client, but they have worked on design, done some small changes, but my client have just standard theme.

Can it be correlated to that his site doesn't move, even that it has much more power?

Thanks, I just want to know what You guys think about this... ;)

Its not about the unique design, it more about tweaking the WP theme to be more "google friendly".

By default WP themes are terrible for ranking they have to much going on in the code.

Well, the people at G said their search engine likes sites that are mobile responsive. If you can make the theme user and G-friendly, then it'll probably move some spot in the serps.

True, Thanks for input! If You know any plugin which do this, please post here, I think it would be valuable for others as well.. ;)

Good point, I have my own sites with responsive themes and they perform better than this client site with just default theme. ;)
