Initial Review:
Frank asked for an honest review. Good or bad, he wanted it posted. I spent a couple days looking over everything and working on the sites. This will be a pretty expansive review, good and bad. I ordered three sites in total, I will lump the review together.
Articles:
First thing first, is I got an extra article on one of my sites, which was great. I went through and checked KW density on the sites. It was good. Something I worry about is too much KW stuffing. Some basic information in how Frank sets up the sites, he includes related posts, which is good to get other KW's in, but can be problematic if you use your KW's too much. The articles were well written for what you are paying for. If you bought articles from frank for 3.50 each, you would not get the images or KW research included. And what Frank charges for articles is very little. I in fact liked the writing so much that I may outsource more content to him. For the basic site at 150, the 20 articles would cost 70 without KW research or images, which again, is value for the money.
I am a writer and have written for websites in the past. I know what I can and can't write. For one of the sites, I know I can't write the content myself. All three sites were very different and the articles were of the quality I would expect for the type of niche. This may be more of a plug for his articles, but they were good.
WP Plug in's and Onpage:
I will be honest here, I was having an issue with the plug ins generating a site map for me, I had to get a couple additional plug ins and make it work. I did tell Frank about my problem, and within a couple days he had the theme switches, more plug ins added, and solved the issue. So I got two good themes for all three websites. That is a plus.
Most of the basic plug ins you would expect were added. The only changes I did were user preference. If you are new to this all, Frank will take care of the details. That is a plus. The On Page was good. Nothing negative to say.
Site lay out:
Back to the two themes he did for me. I switched back to the first theme he installed. If you get a sample, odds are that is what you will see. It is nothing special, but for a site which will become an authority site, it is what I would be looking for. If I were to build a Silo site, which is what seems to be popular now, I would not use this theme. But for these packages, of 20 - 100 articles, it is the correct choice. The site would not have the content to support a Silo.
Additionally, the niches I got were not optimal niches for a Silo. So it was by far the correct choice. This may be re-stating the obvious, but Frank makes the right decision and does not just lay a foundation, it is more out the box, ready to go. For someone looking to flip this into a 1000 page site, you may want to think twice and ask for Frank to work with you.
TAT:
I had an issue with Paypal paying Frank. Not his fault what so ever. He worked it out with me, and I ordered another site from him. He got the sites all up and running at the same time, even with the holidays. This was great. I will say Frank has great customer service and if you have a problem, he will work it out.
Over all:
I knew enough about SEO to not need Franks help with that area. I would buy from Frank again. I think it is great bang for my buck. 500 may seem like a lot for a big site, but if you outsource the content, the domain, the hosting, and KW research, you are around 400. If you do not know what niche you want, this is a good choice.
My questions, even stupid ones, were answered in a timely manor. The sites are done in a way I would like. I will be adding somethings, like a custom banner to the top of the pages and playing with some things, but that is all user preference.
I told Frank I would be ordering sites in the future, and he told me no. He suggested I work on the three I have now, and that would be all I need. He then offered any help I would need. That is good customer service. He told me not to give him more money, and get to work. For new guys, or people with capital new to IM, you may want to toss money around. Authority Sites are a long term investment, and you would imagine you need to do a LOT of work to get these profitable. Frank is honest with this fact, unlike most sellers. That is a plus.
At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I would do business with him again. I would advise this service to those who need direction and are willing to get to work.
