Even though the promo is over I could not pass up the cheap pricing offered especially after reading reviews here. The value of hostwinds service seems out of this world and makes you wonder how much those bigger hosting providers are banking.

Anyways, yet another positive review from me. For some reason my account came up as fraud but I submitted a ticket and the issue was solved very quickly. So as far as customer service goes hostwinds definitely makes the top out of all my previous experiences. Would definitely recommend.

In addition, the same fraud message popped up when I first tried to sign up for hosting on blue host whom then told me I would have to wait a few days for an account blah blah blah employee to accept my account as un-fraudulent.

To add to that, I had the same issue with hostgator who made me wait for over 40 mins in their live chat.

As you can probably assume I decided to not go with those two providers.

bad support. first i ask them a question and they answer. but then when i still in the same chat and i ask them ANOTHER question, they just COPY PASTE the first answer. not recommended at all.

Im posting this review today to warn others, Hostwinds are good at getting you to them however at first all seems well but then problems started to occur.

I wrote to them I have over 20 tickets open with them and the latest ticket they have somehow lost all my websites 5 in total, they told me they would back up saying cost of $5 which was a disgrace now after paying it they cannot get it to work will be taking legal action against these. They are con and charge you for there own problems.

If anyone needs screenshots more than happy to share and name and shame Hostwinds they are full of empty promises.
