Did Pinterest Change Following?

My last couple follow rounds have provided very poor results across the board.. I'd say less than 1% when it has been 20-30% previously. Have they changed something? Has anyone else experienced a drop in follow backs lately?

I only started with pinterest a few weeks ago, not been following hard to be honest but follow backs not to bad for me,

I do large bursts rather sporadically maybe three times a week, 60-100 an hour for about 5000 users/account. This is business as usual for me and previously has brought in 20-30% follow back. After my last two rounds my follow back ratio is a little less than 5% average across accounts.

hard to say, depends on the day, probably 5-6. Some days none at all

I always struggled getting follow backs on Pinterest, it does'nt work like Twitter. If you want to get big followers you are better off building some authority boards and pinning pretty heavily for a few weeks.

I agree with Duffers. People actually use pintrest, if they stumbe across a pin they like 9/10 times they follow them

I've got 14,000 followers on my main account and made $1400 dollars last month on pinterest.. I'm not looking for critique's on my follow methods, I'm wondering if they made changes.

Yeah, I'm also experiencing the same as well. I'm down to 3%-5%. I've actually paused my bot for the meantime. I'm so paranoid lol.

I just received a pop-up msg from pinterest stating, I cannot follow, suspicious activity, please try again later....

I am not using a bot, I have a master account on pc and following only friends from a dummy account that is following in the mass via my cell phone.

Does this mean i messed up my ip for pinterest?

It means that you are following too many people, slow down. If you wanna stay under the radar follow max 1000 people through out the day , if you wanna go full ham its 200-300 per hour depending on your account.

atticanibal Thanks for the input, I didn't think i reached high numbers like that, especially manually, nonetheless i will be more conservative. I just tried to follow someone and this time it worked.

Continue your pinterest strategy, I do things manually because its linked to my personal business and fear of getting it knocked down, but it works, we just started this week getting into it, and we have seen great exposure, leading to 2 sales and 4 networking opportunities. Well worth it it think.
