You are right, but the OP can make this legit by making the site and keyword(s) known to one of the MODs or if they are too busy, some other reputable member, with that we can know for sure that it is POSSIBLE to rank for a 500k keyword with just manual linking building!

Wow, subscribing for sure. Sorry but I don't believe it it's possible, at least not in such a short time. I was able to rank a parasite site (a Pinterest board) to #12 for a 40k exact kw in about 2 months with manual SEO,but was not able to get it to first page and now it is sitting somewhere on 3rd page...

Hope you will share what parasite and what type of backlinks are you using.
